I am so sorry to hear about your beloved pet. Our cocker spaniel, Thunder, had to be put to sleep last year, and I still miss him as do my sons. Dogs are so full of unconditional love and are such an important part of our lives. It sound like Heidi was greatly loved and you will have wonderful memories of her. My thoughts are with you.
