May DVC Golfers

I've been watching the Disney web site for the May Price slice rates. Still not posted so I called this morning and was told the Price Slice starts May 19 and rates are between $45 - $65 depending on the course.

We're were planning to play May 15 and 17 so guess we'll use the DVC member plan instead.

Thought other May golfers might want to know.

We're going the last week in May, and DH and DS #1 will be golfing every day. We found that it was cheaper to buy the DVC golf badge-$85 plus tax, I think it was, and it's good for a year. Rounds after 10:00am are $35 per person for the member and up to 3 guests. DH already got 3 rounds last June, and hopes to get 8-10 more "person-rounds" (that's 4-5 rounds for 2 people) this May. But before we joined DVC, we loved that "Price Slice" special. And remember, going in the summer, you can reserve 90 days in advance, I think.

We've used the DVC golf member card on years we've played more than two rounds or had family members play in our group. And it's alot more flexible for times of year when you can play than price slice. We need to plan better to use the card for more than one trip like we do with our annual passes.
