How is everyone getting on with their diets ? It's been a wet, dreary and cold April, which can easily affect your motivation, as we'd rather be wearing summery clothes, yet we've had to cover up with jumpers and coats :(

Please share how you're getting on, whether it's good or bad. Let's see if we can give each other a little bit more encouragement and motivation as we head towards the Summer

I am in for this month.... So far I have lost 1 1/2 stone and want to loose another 2 !! I have decided to do the Disney 1/2 marathon and I am doing the race for life 5 k so the exercise has helped!

still plodding along.....

weighed in yesterday and a miserly 1/2 lb off but at least it was off. I was very good when we went out for lunch for DD's birthday - I even had a child's ice cream rather than the big pudding htat I really wanted! Yesterday we had a little family tea so I've got some making up to do today. I have managed to count everything (following WW) and noted it all down and I'm well within my limits. Because the weight loss has been so slow, I re-did my measurements and I've lost a few cm so I guess I have to try to take the positives. I think the Wii Fit needs to come out of hibernation again! The really good thing for me is that my blood sugars are back to single figures (and I even managed a hypo - low blood sugar - yesterday!)

I am finally back on track and have finally lost 1lb this week wich means i have waved goodbye to my 1st stone :banana::banana:

Thanks, I only started running a while ago and I love it, I started with the couch to 5 k app. Well done on your weight loss

well I have put on 2lbs, I think the party finally caught up with me! so its only a blip and i'm determined to get that off for next week.

shame about the party catching up with you (but it looked fun!). Good luck in getting rid of those pesky 2lbs next week.

I started on the Dukan on Monday 30th April and as of this morning I've lost 11lbs. :woohoo::woohoo:

The ultimate goal is to lose the 30lbs that has gradually crept on over the last 3 years
 
ok as we've got a major black tie party in July, a WDW trip booked for Sept/Oct and a long weekend in Nov in Maccau this year I'm defo back in for this.

well I lost 1lb of those 2 that I put on last week, party party!:banana:
so I'm pleased with that, we have another party coming up to go to in 2 weeks and then another 2 weeks after that,both 30th birthday parties, so I'm really going to have to watch my point intake in the next few weeks..

a very sad morning .................. the scales said EXACTLY the same as they did yesterday :sad1::sad1: Still I stayed focused and I've been very good all day so fingers crossed for some downward movement of the numbers tomorrow
 
weighed in again today and, at last I bring good news to our thread! I lost
2lbs which takes me to 7 1/2lbs in total. Very slow going but happy to have finally hit the half stone mark!

Another sad day of NO movement today but my heels are dug in and I'm determined to keep going
 
and YET AGAIN no loss for me so just to recap that 11lbs lost in week 1 and a big fat NOTHING lost in week 2 :mad::mad::mad:

So to celebrate today I've had a very bad day coco pops for breakfast, cheese sandwich for lunch, biscuits with my tea and we've just had a chinese takeaway for supper ............. back to being a good girl tomorrow :p:p

After a WONDERFUL 1st week and then going absolutely nowhere on week 2 I had the weekend off. So started again yesterday but was too scared to get on the scales so will hop on them tomorrow morning and share the results.
