I just received a Passholder's offer from Disney Destinations--this may be old news, but I didn't see it on this page and I failed to search.

The dates included are: 2/27–3/5, 5/8–5/27, 5/31–6/4, 8/21–10/8, 10/23–10/29, 11/13–11/19, 11/27–12/3 and 12/11–12/24/11. The offer is 40% off villas/deluxe resorts and 35% off moderates/values.

I hope I didn't provide information already possessed by you knowledge folks on this board. Frankly, I had a code that I could have used through May and we are already booked at Dolphin for October, so I'm not sure I will take advantage of this year's passholder's offer.

I didn't receive this passholder email yet. Looks like they skipped most of the summer dates just as the other discounts they have offered so far. Unless they offer discounted summer dates later, it looks like we will be extending our stay at the HRH and spending more time in Universal Studios. At least I can get a discount there for the dates I need.

Am I missing something?

This is my first year as an AP holder, so I am not sure if this is the way it normally is.
I booked my room when the last round of GP room only discounts came out. When I went in with the same dates to check with my AP pin, the price is coming out 400 dollars more. I have double checked to make sure it is the same room category, view, etc.

I am a little disappointed. I didn't think my price would be much lower, but I thought it would at least be the same.

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but it used to be that if you checked in during one of the promotion dates the cheaper rate applied to the entire stay. Not so anymore. I was just quoted 40% off AKL for 2 days and full price the remaining days. I am finding cheaper rates on Expedia, etc. That is sad. Not much of a PIN imo

We've been waiting for passholder rates to book our late May - early June trip. We received this passholder/pin e-mail today and the GP room-rate is slightly better than this pin-code. It seems some non-passholders have received similar e-mails with similar rates.

We're still hoping for regular passholder rates to be released for our time period. (Though I've already booked a room with the GP rate, but don't tell my wife)

That sounds exactly like the email I got on 3 of my email addresses and I'm not a passholder. Are you sure those are the AP rates?

Well I can tell you I will surly be ticked off it this is actually a AP Pin offer going out to random AP holders. I mean WTH??? I buy the AP for 2 reasons. The value it offers when doing 2 trips in one years time and the possibility of room discounts. Yesterday I started researching rates for our June trip and was bothered to see that the GP rate is out for the Summer but not the AP rate yet. Now it seems AP emails are going out (which for some reason I never get Disney Emails even though I have called several times making sure my account is set to send emails to me) which may be random AP pin offers....grrrrr I guess I will be calling in 6 hours

I sure hope not! If so, then I won't be buying another AP. I just went to the AP site and the only discount listed is the one that expires in mid April. I go to WDW several times a year and have yet to ever recieve a code, so don't hold out much hope of getting this one. I couldn't have used it for my April 30th-May 8th trip anyway. I go every year either the first or second week of May. This is the first time that first week of May has ever been blacked out. What's going on? They offered free dining for Memorial day weekend, but not for the first two weeks of May and now the AP discounts and regular pin codes don't cover those first two weeks either (I have a coworker who hasn't been to WDW in several years who got a pin code, but even her code didn't cover those first two weeks in May).

I sure could use that AP code for my late Sept/early Oct trip though. I wonder if POFQ is getting a smaller percentage off than the other moderates (like it did with the GP code) though?

This is a e-mail. Don't think it's a AP rate, think it's a pin for passholders.

When I checked, it took me to Disney Reservations not my passholder site. Plus it has a pin #. I've e-mailed my agent I'm sure she'll figure it out. When I checked my passholder site there was nothing for that time frame.

Right now I have a GP rate of 35% off, if I can use the pin I'm sure she will have it applied.

I got the exact same email but I don't have an AP yet this year and didn't have one for the last 2 years. Mine has a pin at the bottom too.

It is an AP pin, my son got it yesterday, It covers many of the same dates as regular AP rates. The advantage is that you know ahead of time and can go ahead and make reservations using the discount. Otherwise, we would have had to wait until just a couple of months before to know if the AP rate would apply during the time we were there and how much it would be. You could go ahead and book during times that there are typically AP rates offered, then when it is released have it applied to your ressie.

I booked the GF with the GP code for May 1-5. Still hoping for a better AP rate, seems unlikely with all these pin codes going out first.

This is the exact dates and rates I got from disney destinations today but mine is not for APs. I haven't been an AP holder for years and it does not mention anything about AP on it.
