Are the wave phones about the same size as a cell phone? I will have to carry one around myself and didn't even think about having something to put it in as I was planning on just getting a lanyard to put my room card in.

Oh! I was reading a trip report from someone recently off the Magic on another forum and saw pics of her stateroom. Why are they still using bedspreads?!?! Ugh! I hate bedspreads! Not gonna be a cruise killer or anything but I just don't get why they've not swapped out to the lovely fresh comforters and duvets like the new ships have. Wouldnt it be advantageous to upgrade those little details to maintain continuity and quality across all 4 of their amazing ships? Tracey is going to kill me but I'm packing one of our old hard shell suitcases with my Minnie quilt &/or an older comforter & duvet. I may not even tell him beforehand. I may just pack it & he can deal with it once he arrives in Orlando. Lol!

I took tonight off from sewing so I could run and rest my back. The guys all had to fend for themselves with the leftovers. I'll be getting up with Tracey in just a few short hours to hit the grind stone again. Gonna sew while I can then hit the ground running...errands, shopping, packing, house cleaning, bank books, etc etc etc....I think the list is multiplying!

I hear you on those old bedspreads. Ugh! I think we had the same ones on our 2000 Magic sailing. (j/k...although they look like it, don't they?)

Cindy are you a fellow Jeep owner? I got my first CJ5 when I was 17 and I've have one ever since. Just wonder since your bag of choice is Life is Good.

One would think we were Jeep owners! Nah, both DH and I have been driving Chevy Blazers for over 15 years. Our current ones are 8 and 11 years old, and we just don't want to switch to the TrailBlazer (so not the same thing as the old Blazers). I would love to finally get my Jeep Wrangler, although DH is not keen on them simply because he would be worried about me falling out of it (I'm a bit of a klutz, although he would like everyone to believe it's more than just a bit ).

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what "purse" to carry. HELP!!!!!!!!

I need to carry the wave phone, KTTWc, camera.... ugh.

Join the club! Hence the number of purses and bags I am bringing!

We are visiting my DH's dad and his wife before and after, which sort of negates the cost of airfare for us. They live in Sarasota. We arrive Monday evening and will probably hit the beach Tuesday, then we're doing a nature kayak trip on disembarkation day and will spend four more full days with the in laws before heading out early Saturday. I might sleep for a month after!

I am probably bringing a bigger purse than anyone because I HAVE to have my water bottle at all times. I'm having Braxton-Hicks contractions and the doc was a little worried so I am drinking a ridiculous amount of water every day. I agree with Kelly that a crossbody is totally the way to go, and have heard good things about a few different styles. You might just try Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshalls and see if they have any smallish crossbodies that would work for you. I see Baggalini ones at my TJ Maxx pretty regularly. I am bringing a Relic organizer crossbody purse, but like I said, it's fairly large. It's a cute color and it's vinyl so I don't worry about it getting dirty or wet.
The other thought... though it might be too late to order one, is the Passporter lanyard thing. It holds a wave phone and a KTTW. Then you can just get a neck or wrist strap for your camera.

I bought my crossbody from Kohl's the other day. It was on sale plus I had a 20% coupon for it. Totally cute (if you like peace signs and such!)! It's in the pile of bags and purses that are going with!

We have Prime to and I totally get my money's worth out of that sucker!

Maybe I'll have to stop in TJ Max.... I should just get my lazy butt up and go through my giant collection of bags I have in my closet.

The wave phones I believe are a tad larger than cells, but nothing too bulky. Verdict is still out if I will actually carry one!

Bring all of your purses! A girl can never have too many purses (or shoes!)! I'm leaving the bulky camera home unfortunately, even though it takes better pictures.


What a morning at work! We had a demo of some new software, and the HR folks inundated these poor guys with more questions than they could've imagined. I can't believe it's only Wednesday still.

I just got out a bag to pack all the "stuff" in... like all the stuff the boards tell you not to forget... magnets, pic frame to be signed, flash lights, highlighters, pirate accessories, chargers. I just threw it all in there and will organize later

Hopefully we will have that bag, shoe bag, a bag for the kids, one for me, and one for john... THAT'S IT!! I think I'm going to throw an outfit in the stuff bag for the kids in a ziplock and they can wear their bathing suits onto the ship.

I think I might bring the umbrella stroller too. GEEZ! That' alot for 5 days!

Kelly those are so wonderful. I'm not much of a sewer but I enjoy crafting-- I might be tempted to make a journal like that and check out that pattern too! Though I'm one of those people who always has a project going so I probably don't need to put more things on the possibility list!

I havn't even thought about purses yet! Ahh! My Mom has gotten into Thirty-One bags. I'll be using my skirt purse and Cindy bag has carry ons. My girls have cinch bags for carry ons so maybe I'll use one of those to carry things. Jacob is the photographer in our family so maybe I can put things in his camera bag- that would be a first!

My biggest problem right now is that we also have another 7 days total outside of the cruise and I'm trying to figure out how to do clothes and things for allll of it.

I am bringing my SLR, possibly my nice point and shoot, and I ended up buying a waterproof camera too. Good grief. I have a camera backpack that has room for my Nook and probably whatever else DH will want to carry on (documents and stuff) and then we'll carry on another backpack for DS's toys/blanket/hoodie/extra pair of pants in case he gets cold/snacks for the plane. Then when we get on the cruise that will change to the bag we take our swim suits and sunscreen and whatever else on in. I think.

Well, we are flying into Tampa, then driving an hour to Sarasota on Monday. Then driving 3 hours to the port on Wednesday morning, and the reverse on the way back. Which granted is nothing like 19 hours straight!!! I hope you have lots to keep the trio occupied. DS does great for 12 hours, but I'm not sure he'd do well with much more.

Well I got selected! The judge says we should be done tomorrow. The lawyers are long winded though so hopefully that will be the case. Though our FE may really be a tote bag now! We'll see. I better get off of here and work on some of my projects!

I have got to stop spending MONEY! This cruise can't come fast enough because I have been buying everything under the sun. Then I'll find something I like better and back to the store I go to return what I bought the day before. Honestly none of the stuff I'm buying is anything I absolutely need. Here's my list of things I need... bag of candy for signitures, colored sharpies, swimming trunks for Kane. Here's what I bought today.... clearance jeans in next years size for Maya, white skirt for me, white capri's for me and 2 cami's. WTH!!! NO MORE!
Tomorrow I will obey my new rules!

Oh Lord 19 hours would put me over the edge. We took the twins to Disney when they were 10months OMG getting thru airport security was such a process!

The 19 hours is HARD but we have movies, DSs, all the usual entertainment and ATL breaks it up a bit.
I think we are going to leave Saturday around midnight. That way the kids can sleep and john and I can just trade off driving. We will be in ATL around breakfast

I NEED a pedi so bad! Maybe I can sneak one in before we leave. Pedis are THE BEST!

The only thing I couldnt handle is bad fungus... and Im not talking just cloudy slightly green nails. I dont want to make anyone sick, so I will stop there... but that was only 1 time.

Oh man, tell me about it! I keep thinking of something else I really should have. I am on a STRICT LIMIT today though. DS needs a plain white t to go under his pirate outfit, I need a plain black t for sleeping in (my PJ bottoms still fit but the top, not so much), and a clippy thing for the back of my pirate shirt, and we need dog food. PERIOD!!! We'll see how that goes. Good luck to you!

Depending on how many hours it takes to get to ATL, I'd leave a few hours earlier if it was me. We do a 12 hour drive pretty regularly and if there are two drivers we usually leave around 4, DS is entertained for a few hours, we stop for dinner, he does ok for a few more hours then passes out. I am sure you'll be fine regardless because the kids can help entertain each other.

I agree! So, I have a circulation issue that makes me have really bad callouses. Thankfully no pooling blood sores at this point (thank you Arizona heat and pregnancy increased circulation) but I am still really self conscious about my feet. I had my first pedi last year when my mom was here and liked it. I got another one before my Vegas trip and it was SO GREAT, and I am getting another one today! You won't feel self-conscious after your toes are pretty!
