I have not found a thread for this yet and me and DH just changed what was going to be a seven night on the Fantasy May 12, 2012 to this cruise on May 9, 2012.


Who else well be cruising on this cruise?

Hi!! My family will be joining too. We were originally going to go on the Fantasy on 5/12 as well. When we went to book it, the price really jumped up. This will be my 6th cruise, but 1st DC. My DH and I have b/g twins that will be 7 in August. It will be their 1st cruise, and we are surprising them. Oh and I am new to this board.. this is my 1st post

Welcome, Glad we are not the only ones on this cruise. LOL. This will be mine and DH first cruise ever and I thought that while the Fantasy is very cool looking this might be our last time to go on the Magic since it will be changing ports after May 2012.

It will be moving to NY and TX ports after May. And that would require flying for us. So this would be the last chance for me and hubby to go on the Magic. I am looking forward to it.

This is our first cruise and we are so excited...Very nervous too because we do not know what to expect out of a cruise; especially a Disney Cruise.
We have b/g twins that will be 5 in March. Any advice from you experieced cruisers is welcome!!!

We booked this cruise on our last cruise to the Mexican Riviera. This will be number 13 for us. We wanted to cruise on the Magic again before we are forced to cruise on the new ships.

Welcome. As I said in a previous post me and DH was booked on the Fantasy but figured this would be the last chance to sail on the Magic before it switched ports because Port Canaveral is the only port Disney sails out of that is withing driving range for us.

Any suggestions since you are a veteran cruiser. It will be and DH first cruise.

I wish we had a cruise within driving distance! Just relax and enjoy the cruise. Don't sweat over the little things. We do not usually do shore excursions, but you can if you want. We did 2 this past cruise since we had never been to Cabo or Puerto Vallarta. We don't get off the ship in Nassau and we will probably just walk around in Key West. We have to get key lime pie at the Blonde Giraffe!

Hi everyone!

I noticed we weren't the only ones who jumped the May 12 Fantasy ship to this one!! This will be our 2nd Magic cruise, and we are very excited. With me will be my DH (Todd) and our DS4 (Baron). Ever since we took our DS on the Magic last year, all he can talk about is going back on the "Mickey Mouse Cruise Ship." For those who are 1st timers, you and your kids will love, love, love it!!!

This will be our 5th cruise and the 2nd with DCL, so I'm not sure if we can call ourselves "veterans," but I would be happy to help answer any questions that do pop up. With that said, I'm sure I'll have some of my own as well.

And, yes, we, too, would definitely want to be included on the FE exchange. That was 1 of the biggest highlights of our last Magic cruise.

Hey, I just noticed I started Page 2. Woohoo!

We decided to say HI and add a few more to the group. This will be the second half of our B2B.

We also jumped ship, so to say, from the Fantasy (May 5). Ten days sounded better than seven and we were on the Dream last May. We moved the Fantasy out to 2013.

There are three of us DH, DW, and DD(11).

It doesn't look like anyone has started the FE group yet so I guess we can jump in and get it started. Please PM your stateroom number, number of people in group, names or at least a family name plus ages and genders for kids, and where you are from. It's also fun to include details like whether it's your first cruise or if someone in your party will be celebrating something on the cruise. We will keep a spreadsheet updated and send it to everyone that wants to join. Also indicate if you want to be part of a cabin crawl. Suggested cutoff date for joining the FE group is April 1st to give everyone a chance to get the gifts ready.

We may be switching to this cruise! (Might have a conflict with the date we have booked right now.) Schepp, if you would like, I can do this FE if we do switch (should know in an hour). Keeping fingers crossed, as this would actually work out better for me as far as work goes!
