May 3, 2014, Eastern Fantasy....Anybody cruising with me????

Are you doing your park time before or after the cruise? We are considering spending some time at the parks as well, before the cruise.....so we can relax and recover while on board.

One member of our group has not been to Disney World since she was a kid, so this will be really fun!

Hi Linda!
Yes, we will be doing all the stuff before the cruise. We did last time, 5 days before and 4 days after. and it was way too much after the cruise. We were beat and ready to go home. So, this next time, we will be doing everything before the cruise and then when we port back in, we will drive to downtown Disney and play a little there before our flight leaves. I sure hope flights will drop because they are about 500 a piece. So for the 5 of us, that is 2500!!! Just for flights, I sure hate that. But, that is why when we fly to Florida, we always do Disney and Universal Studios. We have not done any other attractions besides Gatorland Zoo, does anyone have any other suggestions? We just pay so much to fly out there, we might as well do everything we can while out there.
So do you or anyone else have any thoughts or ideas for me?

We will probably do a day at Disney before the cruise, but not sure yet. I have to pull the little Pirate out of school so we will see how things come together as we get closer. last time we did one day at the park the next relaxing at the pool then the cruise. I would ideally like to do that again, but we will have to just wait and see.

We were planning on spending a couple of days at the parks before the cruise...but knowing us, that couple of days will probably turn into a week by the time 2014 rolls around. Haven't been to the World since 2009, so there's a lot of catching up to do. And we usually go in February, so the timing will be very different for us. DW and I are very excited about checking out the Flower & Garden Festival.
Might have to do a day at Universal. Haven't seen Harry Potter "Land" yet, and DD is a Harry Potter fanatic (me too).
We drive down...I love to drive and DW is terrified of flying. A lot cheaper too. Plus we have our own vehicle when we are there.
Stef...we did Seaworld one year. I was very impressed with the park. Didn't do any 'ride' attractions...just the shows and exhibits. A very relaxing day...and educational too!

Hi everyone! We're on this cruise too... It'll be our honeymoon!!! We plan on going to WDW the Monday before and then heading to the port on Friday! We've never been on a cruise and never been to WDW without the kids! So excited!

Waiting on my quote back and will be booking it when I get that back.

This will be our second time on the Fantasy, we did a Western Caribbean in Sept 2012.

Cruising will be myself, my DH and DS8 (at that time).

Coming all the way from Australia, from what I hear cruising in Australia just doesn't cut it.
So excited to get back to WDW which we'll be doing after the cruise

Anyone else interested in starting an exchange? I don't mind heading it up but I've never been cruising before so it may be a learning experience for me! Of course, if anyone else had done this before, I'd gladly pass the responsibility too! I'm sure I'll be quite busy with a wedding and all!

Oh that's great? Would you be willing to lead it and have me assist you? I am going to have a TON going on with the wedding and don't want to overextend myself!! I really would like to work together though!
