Just finished fe gifts-boy was that cutting it close!!! Packing tomorrow!
Been working on mine awhile, but just finished mine, too--glad it's not just me!
In case anyone is curious, I just checked the website and it looks like rooms are still available in several categories. Of course I don't know how many rooms are open, but maybe this means that the cruise won't be packed to the gills.
We've only been on the Wonder, so I'm interested to see how much more crowded the Dream will feel. I know we'll have fun no matter what!
I got in around 1:30 this morning from a visit to the U. S. Coast Guard Academy, my flights were delayed with that system off of South Carolina, mixed with equipment issues....now to interview a potential Chemistry instructor and THEN....it's time to get in Disney Dream mode! Somehow in the middle my son is hoping we can get up to Birmingham and catch a couple of the SEC Baseball Tournament games....War Eagle from me and Go Dawgs from him!
Yuck!!! Just checked the weather. Scattered thunderstorms all week.Hope its scattered when we leave

Funny, since I graduated from UGA for undergrad and Auburn for grad school. I have to say, though, that Auburn ended up converting me--I'm a War Eagle girl now!
I am a convert too! Grew up a Bama fan, then spent a year at UF. Finally transferred to Auburn
(of course there was a boy involved who I eventually married, and we are celebrating our 20th anniversary on this cruise!) The Baptist preacher that I grew up with (Auburn fan) said that I had truly been saved when I transferred to Auburn
Ha ha! I'm sure my DH will sport an Auburn shirt on the ship, so if you see us yell 'War Eagle'! And room 6136 will have Auburn and Georgia door magnets.
I wouldn't worry- the forecast for Florida and the Caribbean says that just about every day from May to October. Usually means a brief thunderstorm and then clearer sunny skies right after.Yuck!!! Just checked the weather. Scattered thunderstorms all week.Hope its scattered when we leave

I was told by friends there is a group for single parents on board. Will be looking for it or will ask my DVC rep at the meeting when we board.Any suggestions for single parents ? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hope all goes well for you-praying that he makes it!!!My husband is a Dawgs fan as well - me, well I don't really care about sports that much to be a fan. We have also only been on the Wonder and are excited about seeing the big ship.
I have arrived to Atlanta safely with two of children dropped off with grandma. I have three children and the third has had some changes in plans, as well as some major finger crossing and praying that my husband makes it to Orlando. We are blessed to be able to fly standby and have to go with the whims of the flight loads. I was not able to get on 3 flights but made it on back up plan #4. My husband had to work one more day than me so he kept one child (he had one more day of school left) and was supposed to leave our little town last night. When I left, the flight loads looked fine. By the time he was supposed to leave, flight loads looked horrible. So, he did not get on the flight from our little town that he was supposed to!!!! He is still in Alaska. We had to find someone to watch the third child in Alaska and my husband is going to go straight to Orlando instead of coming to Atlanta to meet up with me. We had plans for missing every flight we had except this one! There is only a couple flights out of our town a day and missing this flight sets him back a whole day - and that is if he can get on the next set of flights. Right now, I am desperately hoping he makes to Orlando.
Top that worry off with the lovely weather forecasts and I am a nervous wreak right now.
