Ken, please don't think this has anything to do about your Lanyards. We just had wristbands on our last cruise and it was great to be able to spot DIS'ers from a distance or from behind...
I am looking forward to receiving my lanyard. I never have a place to put my KTTW card without carrying my purse.

One of the hotels that DCL is offering is the Hotel Atenea Mar. Does anyone know or know how to find out if this is the same hotel as the Barcelo Hotel Atenea Mar? I called DCL and asked and they were not helpful. I think the woman was confused. Just trying to figure out the hotel thing (I know we waited to the last minute). Thanks.
Oh and I thought I would ask about the dining roation thing too since everyone is getting different answers and I got this: "Why wouldn't we have rotational dining with the same servers?"
I guess you are all right that it will be interesting being the first group.

It probably is. When I was doing all the Barcelona hotel research, I found that many of the hotels would be named different things at the different web sites. I finally just looked at the hotel address. Disney should be able to give you the address - and then you can check! If I remember, almost all of Disney's choices were in the beach area.

On the rotational dining, I'll add your question. For now, the "official" answer is regular rotational dining. Per Tracy, they are thinking about trying something else since they are worried about the late port calls. If that "thinking" turns into reality, I'll post the change on the FAQ page. At the moment there are two set dining times, 6:00 and 8:30.

We're staying at the Hesperia Presidente (a Disney hotel). We were able to get a better rate through DH's corp. travel agent. We're using DCL transfers to and from the port. TA arranged for minibus transfers from the airport.

I know everyone has been in touch with DCL. Have we gotten any exact dates for the special nights. I am working on door signs and would like to put dates on them. I used the types of nights we had while on the Mexican Rivera Cruise but would like to be prepared for anything new.

Love the green bands. What a great idea.

The Travel Channel this Sunday 18th has Passport to Europe with Samantha Brown from 5p to 8p featuring Rome, Nice, Naples, Barcelona, and Florence for those of you who haven't seen these yet.

DCL has tentative dates but they are subject to change based on the whims of DCL and the phases of the moon. The only thing they are publshing is a formal night, two semi-formal nights and a pirate night. I'll post the dining plan closer to the cruise.

You could make up the signs now and just add the dates later. Or give up on dates altogether. I quit including the dates when I was on our wonderful 7-night Eastern turned Western cruise! Not only did the ports change, but the formal, semi-formal and pirate nights also changed.
