Hello everyone!!
Just need some warm, fuzzy thoughts and prayers for Lauren. She has been sick again (!?!?!?!?!)so now they want to do a lymph node biopsy and the doc figured while she was out, he'd remove her tonsils...they are just sespools of bacteria anyway. She has a pattern now for a year....every 4-5 weeks, fever, malaise and just feeling crummy for about 4-5 days and then she's fine. Very puzzling. They have ruled out most all of the nasty bad stuff. Some think it's chronic mono...you know those kindergartners....can't trust a one!
Seriously, she is going to have this done on Thursday. She'll be home recuperating for a week and hopefully back to somewhat 'normal' after that.We would all appreciate warm thoughts, prayers and hugs.
Thanks a bunch,
Mari, Allison, Raleigh and especially Lauren!!!![]()

Oh....I have almost finished scrapbooking our cruise. I want to caption the pix and I saw the Disney font SOMEWHERE on some website in cyberspace. Do any of you know where I can find it again? I swore I'd remember it....NOT. Thanks for your help!
Mari
Tracy, How's your mom? I think about her often and also warm thoughts for you. I took care of my mom when she had her cancer surgery and I know it can be stressful. Warm thoughts and blessings to you and healing and healthy thoughts for your mom are on their way!!!
Peace and thankfulness, Mari![]()

I should also add that mom is not totally incapacitated. This in a way makes this more difficult. I think she wants to prove that she is not sick by doing too much. She hasn't left the house except for doctor's appointments, but she does the laundry and dishes (when we leave her alone for a short amount of time) and then she's exhausted and sore. How can we convince her to stop doing things before she gets tired?
We have talked about hospice and do intend to get them in there when it gets to be too much for my sister and I.
Sending pixie dust and well-wishes to Tracy's mom and Lauren.
Mari: congrats on completing your 5K and the scrapbooking. I am very impressed! I don't scrapbook myself, but can certainly appreciate all the time and effort it requires and am amazed that you have already finished!
Tracy: glad to hear your mom is finding medication that makes it more comfortable for her. Been there, done that myself exactly 10 years ago. We ended up having hospice come to my home and in as well as those things go, we ended up having a very positive experience. The hospice workers are a very rare breed of very special people and really did everything in their power to make a smoothe and comfortable transition.
Jusk ask her for a Disc, with the photos on it!
She will be sending one this way, when She has time!
what's another one!
She is Kewl like that, after all, she was the official Photo person!![]()
