Is anyone watching DWTS - Joey Fatone is in the bottom 2!!!!!

Maybe he'll be on the repo cruise after all. We'll know in a few minutes.

WHew!!!!!!!!! That was close. Joey Fatone is going on to next week. No repo departure for him on Saturday

We got our cruise docs today, woo-hoo!!! It feels more real now!!!:cool1:

I'm sooooo sad! Everyone else is getting their cruise docs....

I'm still hung up on kids' passports. I called, they said they'd been worked on yesterday, and the lady said she'd fax them to encourage them to overnight them. :woohoo: With a little :wizard: pixie dust, I hope to have them by Friday.

Lori:

I'm sure you will be getting your kid's passports soon, I hope they do overnight them. Sending some pixie dust your way!!!

:yay:

Actaually, I'm having a problem......at last count, I was only up to 7 pairs of panties (having used all the really raggy ones for Cruistoberfest V!) I am either going to have to bring new ones (heavens forbid!) or delegate a few more "borderline" pairs to the vacation bin. You do NOT want to see my cruise underwear!

Well, if you toss them in the crowd while Tracy is on the table.....:rotfl2: they may not think they're yours.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Awesome! Now I hope they have enough bandwidth to deal with all of us. With so many experienced cruisers there is bound to be tons of internet activity. I actually need it for work so I'm a little worried about the bandwidth.

If I remember correctly, the cell phone service ran about $4/minute on the other cruise lines that have similar service. I have Sprint so I'm excited about this! Although that means I'm going to have to carry BOTH phones now. My regular cell phone while on the ship and the GSM phone when I'm not.

Sue

Sue i have sprint did you have them add international calling on your phone to get a cheaper rate. How does all that work cindy

We have Sprint, they told us it was $1.29 a minute for international. We needed a new phone anyway, so it worked out.

Do you have to tell them to add it to your phone or it automatically there if you use your phone cindy

Any Sprint phone can call Europe just by adding it to your plan. Every phone cannot call back. Sprint has just come out with a phone that has the SIM card technology to be able to do this. I think it's the only phone they have that will do it too. We were going to go w/phone cards, but this phone is a PDA and air card too. We were paying for a seperate air card besides our phone. So, it is a good move for us. It will have paid for itself in just a few months.

technology is not my thing what does it mean by air card.

Good morning all -

one less day to finished those lists.

Peter was asking me about Euros and I told him I was going to convert about $100 at the Barcelona airport.
Well, I went to the bank to get my travelers checks on Saturday and this is what they did for me: ordered 200 Euros cash in various demoninations (it cost me $282 US); got 400 Euros in travelers checks ($564) since they will be easier to use than US ones. I have never had an ATM card so they suggested I open an additional no-fee checking account for a nomimal amt. of money and get an ATM card tied to that one. As long as we keep it open for 6 months or more, there is absolutely no cost. John and I are thinking this may be a great account to keep solely for travel purposes. We probably paid a higher rate of exchange, but it was worth it for the convenience. Now we won't have to fumble with cash when we arrive into Barcelona. We can just keep a small amt. handy and have the rest well hidden.

No docs here yet, but they will go to my TA first......soon-to-be my EX-TA! Lazy, lazy lazy.......bet you I will have to call and remind her to send them!

Just so you feel better, You probably did ok with your euros, I checked the currency converter and for $200 euros it was $271 some places tack on fees so you did'nt get totally ripped off. You are right sometimes it pays for itself to have the comfort & security along with the convienience,,,,

So you will use your own internet connection instead of disney?

We could, but it would cost $2.49 a minute or more. We'll use Disney's internet, and if they now have it available in rooms, that is a plus. However, we like to be out, so we'll probably hit the hot spots when we need to use it.:surfweb:
