I plan on lots of mixing and matching within the selected packing. Jewelry and scarfs take up less room than dresses.

On the other hand - it would be a fun game to follow everyones "outfit of the day" and guess how many peices of clothing they really did get by with - only kidding . It is nice having laundry services available on board though

I'm sure others have already thought of this, but I'm going to use one of those portable clothes racks and put out all the clothes I want to take. (If he's lucky, I'll leave a little bit of room for DH) Then, after I see my entire closet on it, Just kidding , I'll weed it down and then wait a few days and weed it out again. As far as jewelry, I only own costume except for my wedding ring and one other ring. I just don't want to risk loosing anything on the trip. So, I will be very picky as to what type of bling I take. Paris Hilton has nothing to worry about with me for competition.....or does she? I've heard there's not too much bling in jail.

I also want to thank everyone who has been so helpful in answering my sometimes silly questions, Scooby, figment, sweet sue, winotracy (we MUST meet and have a glass of the liquid of the gods) and Ken. Thank you all for everything you do. Ken, the lanyards...I've heard so much about them....I can just hardly wait! And the wristband lady (soo sorry...forgot your name ) we received ours and I will proudly wear mine!!!! Our DGD may need to wear hers around her ankle...she's tall but scrawny.
This has just been the best experience ever and I know it will only get better and better!!!

We booked this cruise the first of Arpil, 2006 and it seems like the last 13 months have just flown by! But now it seems like time has come to a crawl! The next two weeks are gonna take forever! Argh!!!!

BTW, I emailed DCL yesterday about what movies will be shown and Pirates of the Caribbean 'At World's End' (Premieres 5/25/07) will be shown! Here's all the movies that will be shown on our cruise:

Hmmm...I wonder what happened tio the European-themed movies we heard about earlier like Casablanca and Casino Royale????

I thoughts I heard the Eurpoean themed movies were going to be available in our staterooms. I hope they don't forget Roman Holiday - I only caught part of it last week on tv. Oh - and Grace Kelly movies for Monaco Day. I think we need a longer cruise

UPS just brought them!!! (our docs!!) This makes it REAL!!! WOOHOO!!!!

I bought lime green ribbon to tie around our handles of our luggage. I thought it was too cool. All my family just shake their heads at me.

I just thought I'd share this idea. My sister says her dh always hogs the hangers. She's been saving her dry cleaning hangars and then she'll have enough for her clothes. Then, they're no big deal to leave behind.

Seriously, having you guys share the research and tasks has made getting ready for this trip very easy. I feel bad for those few cruisers that didn't find this board and had to do it all themselves.

Update on stateroom gifts.

Due to an outrageously high cost of shipping internationally, I am carrying on all of the gifts and prizes from Dreams Unlimited Travel. Therefore, I do have to make a couple limitations. Each DISboard name will get one gift bag regardless of the number of cabins with a limit of one per cabin. If you have multiple rooms, the first room listed will get the gift bag. There are a couple items that I have a limited quantity (remember I ordered this stuff when there was 36 DISers on the list and there is now over 60!). I have arbitrarily decided that the last to report their stateroom numbers will get something different if I run out. I have enough of the main gifts, but a couple of the extras are limited. If I don't get your cabin number before I leave, I will still try to get you a gift bag, but please understand if I don't -- I only know you by your DISboard and sometimes first names only so Guest Services can't help me. If you don't want your cabin number shared online, you can send me a PM.

And if you see a short person dragging six pieces of luggage through the Barcelona airport wearing something with Mickey on it no doubt hopping and bubbling around, it's probably me

Got the cruise docs. today.

A patient in dsis's office who is originally from Italy told her to buy cheap undies and throw them away after use. That theory may solve some of the packing problems I may experience on the way home. I wouldn't have to do so much laundry either.

I'm sooooo sad! Everyone else is getting their cruise docs....

I'm still hung up on kids' passports. I called, they said they'd been worked on yesterday, and the lady said she'd fax them to encourage them to overnight them. With a little pixie dust, I hope to have them by Friday.

Ken, you can disregard the laynards for my MIL and SIL. They are not going after all and there are literally 2 rooms left on the ship, and of course, neither fit 4 people, so we will be 4 people in 2 rooms. We'll have lots of space!!!
