:cool1::cool1:Wohooooooooo!!!

Here I am!!

Hope everyone enjoys their day today .. I'm off to run errands..

Great new thread! wtg Sea - great job!

Hope to get to know everyone before sailing!
:hippie:

Good morning, everyone! :surfweb:

I hope you like the pictures in the first post. I had some time to relax last night, so decided to "decorate" the thread.

Yesterday I logged on to the DCL site and linked my reservation with my DS's reservation (Ramen-Anime-Bass). From what I understand, now I can book Palo for the 4 of us, right?? And DS is also a Castaway Cay member, so can he also try to book Palo, too? We want to go to Palo together, but I figured with 2 of us trying to get a reservation at the same time, it increases our chances, right?? I guess there is still plenty of time to figure out the specifics of online Palo booking. :hourglass lol

It was starting to look and feel like spring here, but yesterday and today it's been raining and overcast. Blah! :umbrella:

At least looking at cruise pics brightens the day. :sunny:

Good morning all!!

Seaspray, I love the opening pics, It seems so real even though its over a year away

Its suppose to be 77 today here in PA so hopefully the kids and I can get some cleaning done.

I love them! The first picture with Mickey and the Statue of Liberty is the background on my computer! :goodvibes

I'm glad you guys like the pictures!! I'll probably do more "decorating" over time. LOL

Ok, I have to admit what a geek I am! I'm at work with only a few minutes before I can leave, so I decided to check out the deck plans of the Magic. Here on the DIS you can click on each deck and bring up a huge map of each deck. I've been on the Magic twice before, so obviously I'm familiar with the ship, right? Ok, here's where the geek park comes in; I'm looking at the various decks and getting all excited remembering Parrot Cay, Animator's Pallate, etc etc JUST FROM THE BLACK AND WHITE DECK PLANS! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: See? I'm a geek! :3dglasses

I SO can't wait for this cruise!! :woohoo: :yay:

Terry, thanks for starting the new thread. I've had a busy few days so I appreciate it!

We cruised once where Mike and I were linked with my sister and her friend. I was able to book Palo for the 4 of us. :thumbsup2

I also like the pics in the first post. :goodvibes

I just realized that we would not be able to order any of Shirley's Baskets! Disney is not offering any baskets Either! I have a facebook account if you look up patti deluca there I Am! I will do a search to see if baskets can be delivered to the ship in ny, if not, it looks like I eill have a lot more luggage in order to make some pixie Dust!

I'm really looking forward to going to Palo with DS. On our last Disney cruise, older DS was 18 so DH and I took him to dinner, brunch, and tea, while younger DS couldn't join us. Ever since then, I've wanted to be able to take DS20 (well, he'll be 20 on Sunday. lol). I'm going to try and book all 3 meals this time, too.

Anyone have a facebook account they'd like to share?

Georgette, I am "Theresa Cherney Brown" on FB. :surfweb:

DS said the same thing, Patti! LOL He remembered how great Shirley's baskets were on our 2 Disney cruises, and he's a little disappointed that we can't order them this time. Maybe we'll have to find an alternative. LOL

Wow 57 weeks not long at all!!! I just pulled out the scrapbook I made of our 2004 cruise and was crying alittle:sad1::sad1:! Everyone thinks I am crazy!!! Our kids were then 10, 7 and 4, they will be on this one 17, 14 and 12!!!:scared1::scared1: What crazy is how much they don't remember, and what they do. We have done Carnival and Royal Carribean since then and nothing compares. I CAN NOT WAIT!!! And now there are Fish Extenders OMG what fun!!

Well when you put it that way, it doesn't sound long at all!

I agree, Amanda! 57 of something definitely sounds like a lot less than 400 of something. :lmao:

Patti, my sons were 16 and 13 on that cruise in 2004. Now they're 23 and 20! I don't have "kids" anymore, I have "men"!! I love looking back at pictures from past vacations, and I'm always glad that we took so many pictures because they really do help to bring back the memories. :sunny:

And Fish Extenders! :fish: You're right, they didn't have them yet back in 2004 and I don't remember them on our 2006 DCL cruise either. :confused3

Happy Easter everyone!!! What are your plans today? Everyone is coming over our house(Total 15) for dinner. This time next year we will be so close to sailing!!

Hi everyone :wave2:

Today my beautiful son Robb turns 20! He's the one coming on this cruise with us. :boat: Normally we go out to eat when it's someone's birthday but since today is Easter Robby thought it'd be a better idea to wait since many restaurants are closed, so we'll do that next weekend. I think that Robb is going to his DGF Chelsea's house a little later on.

Patti you have quite a crowd coming over today! Reminds me of when I was growing up and the big family dinners. :)

No real plans for today, other than decided what to make for dinner later. Either chicken parm or an oven-stuffer roaster. :scratchin LOL The weather is great, so we'll probably go for a walk later in the cemetary. We started doing this last year after DH's heart attack. The cemetary is nice with wide, paved walking paths. A lot of people go there to walk, jog, walk their dogs, etc. And it's only a few minutes from our house so it's very convenient.

I have fibromyalgia and it's been flaring up pretty bad lately, so I'm trying hard to resist the urge to sleep all day. :headache:

Happy birthday to Robb! :cake:

I'm not doing much today. My mom's making ham for dinner, and it's really nice out, so I'll probably spend some time outside. Later tonight, I have to go back to school, since today's my last day of spring break. :sad2:
