I am happy - I have said before I thought he was the one. Ben is too sensitive for her, and I think a little immature. If anyone has a chance to put up with her baby girlness, it is JP. I always thought Ben was in the "friend zone" and she had the passion with JP. It is hard to mix two different personalities, but usually you become a balanced couple, which is good for raising children, running a household, etc. I guess I speak from experience.
I really understand how he hasn't said alot -(at least what we see) but he wrote her a letter from the heart, expressing how he feels. My DH does that sometimes - he's the strong silent type. We've been married for 30 yrs and sometimes we are polar opposites - it keeps things interesting!

All I know is that from the first time they put Ashley's brother on the screen I really thought that JP and him looked a lot alike!Maybe it's just me??

As for the proposal... let's see... The guy (or gal) who gets the final rose will have spent one day with her and her parents, one day with her and his parents, one day on a one on one date (two if you're lucky). And mingled with a bunch of other people for the rest of the time. So... three full(ish) days and a few minutes here and there. Oh, that's enough to base the rest of your life on. Absolutely!

Bachelorette contestant Ben Flajnik may not have earned Ashley Hebert's final rose, but that doesn't mean he's sworn off dating forever.
In fact, a source tells Us Weekly the 28-year-old winemaker went out for drinks with Jennifer Love Hewitt last week in San Francisco. "She began pursuing him right after the finale aired," a source tells Us of the Can't Hardly Wait actress, 32.
Indeed, Hewitt hasn't been shy about showing her love for Flajnik, who placed second behind JP Rosenbaum on The Bachelorette's August 1 finale. "Omg! Ben f except my final rose!!! Gotta book a flight to Sonoma !!!" Hewitt Tweeted August 2. And when the pair cozied up at San Francisco's Lion's Pub four days later, the actress was similarly smitten.
Though Flajnik initially stopped by the bar with San Francisco Giants pitcher Cody Ross, he made a beeline for Hewitt after spotting her from across the room.
"It seemed like a first date but he wasn't overly affectionate towards her. Then all of the sudden she grabbed him and started making out with him. She was all over him!" an eyewitness tells Us. "Loving the attention," Hewitt tended to fans at the bar during her date, but had all eyes on Flajnik by night's end. "As the bar started to close she grabbed his hand and marched outside," confirms the source. "It looked like they were going home together."
Hewitt isn't the only woman who's been fighting for Flajnik's affections lately. Though ABC producers are also considering fellow also-rans Ames Brown and Ryan Park to be the next Bachelor, Flajnik "is the favorite with the women trying out for the show, and the crew," an insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly.
"Everyone wants to realize the man he really is," confirms host Chris Harrison. "He's in the right place to find love."
No need to feel sorry for Ben anymore!

while JLH is super cute, she seems to be a lot like Ashley in that she is dependent on her man, whoever that man may be.
I guess he'd like that since he proposed to Ashley. At least JLH is a step up.

I don't know how anyone could feel sorry for Ben. He dodged a Magnum 357 bullet getting away from Ashley. Best part is he now has millions of Bach women feeling sorry for him and running after him. Good thing he didn't show up at the Bach Pad, where morals, common sense and decorum is left at the door...

I could swear I just read an article that Jennifer Love Hewitt was engaged. It was at the beauty salon though, so it could have been an old magazine.
But, as fairestoneofall said, she needed a guy to depend on. I guess he made her laugh a lot through her heartbreak. Maybe they didn't get along in real life? 
Plane trip alone is like 24 hours though.

I just found out that the Bachelorette finale was filmed at Tony Robbins' Fiji resort called Namale. I was wondering if it was filmed there. I can't imagine there are many high-end, luxury resorts in Fiji. It was listed as one of Brides Magazines top destination wedding/honeymoon resorts a few years ago. I've seen lots of pictures. I would love to elope there.
