May 20th at HS. Star Tours Opening. Crowd Issues?

My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon 5/16/2011-5/23/2011. Our only full HS day is May 20th (we are going to HS again on May 23rd for a half-day). I already have the mama melrose fantasmic dining package booked for this day. Unfortunately, I booked this while Star Tours' opening date was May 15th. Now, the opening date is May 20th. Are the crowds going to be just awful? Does anyone have any tips for surviving the crowd and possibly being able to see star tours? Any stories from other opening attraction days?

This is my fiance's first time to DW and he really wants to see the majority of the attractions. Usually, I skip things like Lights! Motors! Action! and the muppet show (we still might skip this ), but I know he will want to see these. I usually use ridemax to successfully fit in most attractions, but by the time I leave, it will not have worked Star Tours into the program. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

I would also like to hear the response to this. We are planning our first WDW vacation EVER (it's a first time for all of us). Our day at DHS is Sunday, May 22...which just happens to be the Sunday of opening SWW!!!

Tell me people...is it gonna be Defcon 5...am I gonna have to guard my child with my life

It will probably be pretty busy since it's the first day Star Tours is open and it's also the first day of Star Wars Weekends. I would definitely get a fast pass for Star Tours if you want to ride it. The rest of the attractions w/the exception of TSM and Fantasmic shouldn't be too bad since most of the Star Wars stuff is pretty concentrated to only a few areas. We went to SWW a few years ago and I don't know why, but Friday was the much busier day compared to the Sunday that we went to. Friday just seemed to have wall to wall people, but I think it's still managable. SWW is over by 7pm, so it should spread out, but you have to keep in mind everyone coming to see Fantasmic too.
