Ok so we are going the first week of may and even though it would have been before sww I was holding off on making plans for breakfast on revenge of the 5th. Now with so sww I'm sure there will be no star wars breakfast

The trip is 4 adults my self my fiance my 19yo son and my dad so we are looking for ideas for breakfast on our dhs day this is what we have planed so far
We are staying at akl ddp and no rental car

Sat Apr 30 dinner at rainforest

Sunday may 1 breakfast Akerhus dinner coral reef

Monday may 2 breakfast cp dinner ohana

Tuesday may 3 breakfast tusker house dinner Jiao

Wensday may 4 breakfast boma lunch raglan roads dinner ca grill

Thursday may 5th breakfast unknow dinner sci fi

Friday may 6th unknown for breakfast thinking about doing behind the steam tour dinner bog

Sat may 7th breakfast chef Mickey dinner San angel

Sunday may 8th breakfast ohana and go home

I don't know that you can be sure there's no SW breakfast.

I feel like the regular Sci Fi breakfast pilot may lead into something much like Minnie's H&V, only with SW showing up on some cycle. It's a draw into HS.

Cape May at the BC has a nice character breakfast. It's not nearly as chaotic as other character meals, IMO. Take a bus from AKL to DHS, then take a boat (or take the 10-15 min walk) to BC/YC and then after breakfast take the boat (or walk) back to DHS.

I also see no problem in doing Boma for breakfast (or dinner) more than once in a trip if staying at AKL.

If sci fi is still doing breakfast in May (SW characters or not) it's a great breakfast. Still don't think they are doing ADRs that far out at the moment but I'd keep looking out for them to extend it.

Yes delux plan
As it sits with what we would eat we have 7 credits left per person and $220 till break even point per person

You could consider as another poster said the Cape May Buffet at Beach Club that has characters

Also Yacht Club has the Captains Grille that gives you the option of ordering off the menu or having their buffet. The buffet does have some different items and they have a chef who makes omelets. Its pretty quiet there and no characters.

You can do bus to dhs and boat option.

I was hoping you would say that. LOL. I would try to, maybe, find another signature or two. Personally, I would cancel Rainforest and eat at a signature your first night. Rainforest is a chain restaurant and is only "meh" in my opinion. That's just me, though.

Rainforest is dad's favorite and has been a tradition to do 7 on arrival day

Maybe consider dropping the DxDP. Unless you do a Signature meal just about every night, it's pretty difficult to not only get any kind of value out of the plan, but to also stomach all that food. IMO (and I am a pretty big guy) the meals are on the heavy side and to fit 2.5 TS a day, plus snack, breakfast would have to be at 7:30 or 8 and dinner wouldn't be until 9-10 with lunch somewhere in the middle. It just might pay to go OOP or to add a few more Signatures in there (for example, having an early lunch at HBD on the 5th and using snack credits for breakfast will help with both table and snack credits).

I agree with this. My husband and I did the DxDP the last two trips and while it was a great treat, it is a LOT of food and you really have to plan very carefully to make full use of it and get your $$ worth. We did the math (or rather, *my husband* did the math, since I'm definitely not a numbers kinda girl!) by putting all our receipts into a spreadsheet with what we would've spent OOP at various places versus what we got with the DxDP. It came out ahead with the DxDP ONLY if we ate signatures every single night, which we did. That averages out to two table service meals a day: a 1-credit breakfast or lunch and a 2-credit signature dinner. If you're planning for a lot more 1-credit TS places than signatures, it's definitely not worth it monetarily.

The DxDP was a great way to get to try pretty much every signature at WDW, but we're going OOP in January for our next trip.

Umm ive done the math right now to break even We need to average just over 30 per credit and that's by going with who would eat the cheaper meals
I like the fact I can pick the 50 buffalo tender loin if I want or a cheaper meal and not have to worry about the cost at the end of the day

This isn't the first time we've done the deluxe plan last trip we ended up saving 300 per person and we enjoyed all the food I'm aware that the price went up and we won't be saving as much

I could care less if you do or don't think the deluxe plan is worth it heck if I wanted to go cheap I would just cook in the room I was asking about suggestions for breakfast not if the deluxe plan was worth it or not

Ouch. Just trying to offer some help and suggestions. That's what message boards are for, you know.
