Mini TR Wimbledon Championships!
Each year to buy tickets for the Wimbledon Championships you must enter a lottery which is operated by The Lawn Tennis Association. The LTA believe that everybody should have equal chance to see attend Wimbledon but the courts can only let in fewer than ever want to attend this popular event. To prevent the ticket prices selling for high amounts they are fixed at a price and those wishing to attend must enter the public ballot by sending their name and address from August to December of the previous year. The draw is done in February and those allocated a ticket are invited to buy them. It's one application per household and two tickets.
I enter the wheelchair ballot which they also operate. There are
scooter/wheelchair spaces on every court where there are no stairs and room for a carer to sit beside you. If you are a lucky drawer you only need buy one ticket as your carer gets in free
I was lucky to get tickets for me and my carer for two years in a row! You get a random court and day. We got court 1 on Friday 4th July. Independence day for America! But that means you can go on any other court below your ticket status so for us everything but Centre Court. But you can watch Centre Court from the hill which has a very large TV screen and even a wheelchair space carved into the hill

folks bring picnics and sit and watch
So we got our cleaners to look after Huey our dog. It was a very hot day so I would have been super worried! Jo drove us across London ...
London has congestion charging but for disabled cars like mine it's free.
We saw the London Eye and Big Ben
Houses of Parliament
Next up Wimbledon game on!
