Oh wow

Really looked like all the kids were having fun

Food spread looked great

Girls look so cute in their costumes :goodvibes

This may sound crazy but what about submitting articles to Family Fun magazine and that type or writing a book about party planning?

Nope, doesn't sound crazy ... and would be fun to do! I'll definitely think about that more in my future! Good idea!

Marsha..

great Tangled movie night...this is the 2nd one I have seen and both have been slightly different...I love all the creativity here on the boards!...I just know we'll have to have one of these :thumbsup2

love the twin Rapunzel girls and impressive garlic bread tower ;)

your Popcorn snack mix sounds mighty similair to my famous popcorn mix :rotfl:

great fun and so nice you had company too....

getting so close now for your trip too!

Thanks!! I really love doing the dinners as themes ... we started this last year, thanks to your creativity in your countdown disney days for Thanksgiving, and I think we will continue it.

Yesterday, Rachel said she wants a Rapunzel party for her 6th birthday...up until now it has been Jake and the Neverland pirates.

And please let Rachel know that my Rachel made a "mini-book" for her. We put it in the mail this morning. Rachel was so proud of it -- she did it all by herself.

thanks! Yeah, it was fun and the food tasted good too! Elie wasn't too sure of the long wig ... but she was a good sport.:goodvibes

NASA has called off Friday’s launch of space shuttle Endeavour because of a technical problem.

Hmmm, wonder if they will reschedule for when we are there??? That would be so cool to see. I doubt we'd go to Cape Canerval, but I've seen other pictures people have of the shuttle and the trail from inside the park, particularly over Cinderella Castle -- that would be awesome!!

Joining in,

The autotrain looks great and an interesting way to get to Disney. ("And no pat-downs, TSA security lines, waiting for other flights, luggage restrictions and extra costs, cramped seating, potential loss of luggage, etc.") Trains seem like the way to go...

love the PJs

I love how organized you are. I like being organized but find myself getting unorganized, of course I've never planned a Disney trip so it's no big deal.

I've thrown hints to my boyfriend about wearing themed or coordinating outfits on a "future" trip - it's a no-go.:confused3

Your menus look fun!

I agree that you should publish a book.:thumbsup2

I absolutely love your "Disney ABC Book"! I wish I had children so I can make it for them.

Your tangled party looked like lots of fun.

Then our 2nd Disney day/dinner will be Jake & the Neverland Pirates theme.

Appetizer: Skully's Flying Fruit Salad

Entree: Captain Hook's Fresh-Hooked Fish

Sides: Izzy's Pixie Dusted (Parm cheese) mashed potatoes

Cubby's Flatbread Treasure Maps (flatbread with a black food dye "x" in the middle ...then we'll fold them up like a scroll)

Mr. Smee's seaweed (cooked greens)

Dessert: Decorate your own Gold Doubloons (sugar cookies w/icing)

Drink: Jake's Neverjuice Smoothies

Then we'll watch some J&NP shows.

Our Jake and the Neverland Pirates Disney Dinner is this Friday night!! Woo Hoo!!

I just printed some really cute crafts for the girls. We invited another family over to enjoy our Disney dinner with us. They are the family going with us to Disney in January (God willing).

This will be a busy week as we finalize packing, run the last errands and plan this party.

We are soon in single digits!!:cheer2::dance3:

That sounds like another great party. These are a great way to build the excitement towards the trip.

thanks for all the comliments and also for joining my PTR!! I don't think Jerry as my boyfriend would have worn the matching/coordinating shirts either. However, now that we have kids, it's a different story. He sees the value of matching for scrapbooking, photos and safety.

Yes, I'm looking forward to the train again -- and no security lines, pat-downs, having to be there 2 hrs prior, no luggage fees, less traffic and weather delays (although they still get them...)etc.

Yep, they are fun! I just went to the Disney site and printed off a bunch of neat crafts to do.

That would be awesome!!!

Thanks! I enjoy doing a "little more" to have fun. I'm still waiting to hear the new launch date.

Elie got her Cinderella costume early today. I wanted to make sure it fit. So today we watched the Cinderella movie and now she's singing, "Cinderelly, Cinderelly"

Here is my own "CinderElie". The girls don't know yet that they are eating in Cinderella's castle...they each have a Cinderella dress now that they'll wear. I totally can't wait to see them both all dressed up meeting the real Cinderella!!! Can't you just see it??

She was having fun.

Being a princess is hard work...she had to sit down.

I LOVE it!! She is so cute! I can't get over how big she is now. I still picture her as a little baby

Oh my gosh she looks so cute.

I had to post those pics right away! She looked soooo adorable (of course, I'm a bit biased...);)

Yeah, I had to do a real mental reset this past year. She is totally not a baby and definitely has her own personality...much more adament about stuff, less thinking, more creative and doing and physical...in other words, she's a little me.

Rachel is really more like Jerry -- thoughtful, more sensitive, less physical but super creative in arts & crafts. She loves school and wishes it was every day!

Oh my goodness.......she looks so adorable in her Cinderella dress! Her little wrinkled nose smile made my day!

Hi, I'm late joining in, but I was hooked when I saw where you grew up and where your parents live. We aren't far, living in Leesport.

Your girls are adorable in their dresses. When I see things like that it almost makes me wish I had a girl to dress up. I just tell myself boys are easier. ;) Of course my 4 year old would probably love to dress up like a princess. I'll let him play with the toys, because why should girls have all the fun. :rolleyes1

I'm going to go read through your July TR, since we are going in July.

You are so creative and organized! I am neither! I like to scrapbook, but I have to look to others for ideas, I'm just not creative! I'm waaaay behind on scrapbooking! :sad1:

Your trip is so close! I can't wait to read your TR!

Oh, thanks! Everytime we try to get a picture, she wants to do that crinkle nose -- it's pretty funny.

Welcome to my TR!! I grew up in Reading, PA, so close by to you. I get up to PA about every 3-6 months.

I'm glad you let your son play with the girl toys -- it's good for creativity and will help him recognize the princesses for your July trip.

Our July trip was fun but it was sooooo hot and crowded. We knew it would be ... so tried to have fun and definitely took breaks in the afternoon. I hope you have a good trip. Where are you staying?

I'm behind, too, on my scrapbook, but try to do a weekend scrapbook crop about 2 or 3 times a year to help get caught up.

I also switched to doing photobooks for our Disney trips and for the kids' books for the majority of the pictures. Then I'll just scrapbook the good pictures for our trips and baby books and family books.

There's always a lot more photos that I want to crop...just don't have the time, so try to limit my photos.

And yes, I scraplift a LOT! There are such good ideas out there, esp when you are behind, why do all the work from scratch? I now have two Close to My Heart "recipe books that I like to use to get my ideas. And it goes step by step and shows you how to do the designs, how many pieces of paper you need ... but still allows flexibility to add your own details.

Elle looks so cute

She has grown p so fast:cutie:

Marsha, Elie is just growing before our eyes!! She's tooooo cute with her crinkled nose!!!

Enjoy that, because before you know it she'll be the teenager who says "hey let me see that...no, take it again, my hair is all wrong." :rotfl:

My youngest son loves his princesses! They are the ones he usually wants to see the most. Rapunzel is a must do this time. He was a little disappointed we didn't get to meet her in January, just saw her from a distance. My 7 year old doesn't feel the need to see the characters. :sad2:

This year I started digital scrapbooking, because I know that's the only way I'll get it done! I still haven't finished the album yet, or gotten halfway! Working on our January Disney trip, even though I got a photobook. Couldn't fit nearly all the pictures in the Photopass photobook without paying a fortune! I think it's the last time I get that package. I will still do traditional scrapbooking for all the older pictures I have... my youngest will be 5 this year, and I think I've only done an album for his first year. :rolleyes1

We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I'll miss the Poly and the monnorail, but I think we'll like it. We are driving, so that's a first for us. I am trying to prepare myself mentally, expecting it to be hot and crowded. We are spoiled going in January with low crowd levels. We plan for rope drop and back to the pool in the afternoon. I'm hoping I don't feel the need to do it all since we were just there in January, but who am I kidding?
