I loved reading your trip report.

I completely agree with you on DVC and the AP. Both make it so much easier at the end of a trip since you know you will be back. I am jealous though you are going back much sooner than we are.

Are you going to do a PTR for your January trip?

Hey maybe I will see you around town or at the school someday too.

GREAT REPORT! Just read your lessons learned and wrap-up and loved it. Discovering new places to see and things to do at Disney is part of the fun. We NEVER do it all but every trip we try to find a few new things to see or do. People never understand how we can keep going back, but they don't realize that we still have YET to do it ALL and every trip is just so different for us.

We got back to the room, ate leftover foods, packed and went to bed.

In the morning, I got up early and just sat out on the balcony watching the animals. After packing we went to DTD for our traditional caramel apple from Goofy's Candy Kitchen. Rachel got the marshmellows.

While at DTD, Rachel sang me this song ... it went something like this:

"May I always be the same. May we always go to Walt Disney World"

It totally made me cry. It was so sweet.

I truly cherish these vacations we have at Disney. I know I won't be able to dress RAchel up in princess gowns forever ... and one day she'll rather go off and ride stuff w/o me...but until that day comes, I'm going to hold onto these special moments.

i don't know how i missed this before, but i love this! this is the kind of moment that makes me love Disney.

3) Going slower makes the vacation longer and seems like we are doing more.

YES! I said it!!

I'm not sure how it works but when I really try to slow down, even though we actually don't DO as many rides/shows, we actually feel like we are doing more.

Maybe b/c it's more worthwhile things -- like stopping to let the girls play in the water fountain and laughing at them smiling and running around or playing in the playgrounds.

Do my eyes deceive me

just kidding, i completely understand. I'm hoping to do less rushing next trip- well, at least meet in the middle...

Yeah, it was nice. Now as I'm planning my next trip, I find myself falling back into the 'commando' routine. I have to force myself to relax!

Yep, that's Elizabeth inside the castle at our meal. I was actually going to title that photo "innocent". great minds think alike!

Yep, you are all a part of my family now! I look forward to sharing our trips (or rather trip reports) with you. I can't wait until I have a trip that overlaps with my readers!! Woo Hoo!!

I think it's always good to have some lessons learned...I actually like to go back and review past lessons prior to our next trip. I keep all my Disney notes in one little notebook so it's neat to read what happened on prior trips.

I hope to do a PTR for January, but won't start it until November. I'm still reworking our schedule for the 5th time! Adding Legoland instead of Sea World now.

Will you be going to the Spooktacular Bingo? If so, I'll be there and hope to see you!

yes, DVC and AP is totally the way to go! But this January trip will be using regular tickets (some park hopper, some not), so it definitely changes the way I'm planning this January vacation.

I know! Jerry actually had to take a photo of me just sitting on the ground relaxing! It doesn't happen often at Disney. But for this trip, it was great!

I hope my lessons learned can also help others, too! I love reading other TR and finding out what they learned, too.
