May 2008 Half Term

We are thinking about maybe going in May 2008 but if I remember correctly there is half term in the UK.
Does that mean the resort is very crowded or only crowded as there are hopefully no holidays in France.

Which week would be better then: 19.May-23.May 2008 or 26.May-30.May 2008?

we went at may half term last year and it was not that busy - our school hols in Gloucestershire in 2008 are sat24th may to Sun 1 Jun- but I know they can vary between education authority areas.

I would do the first week as the Mon 26th is also a UK public holiday, so more folks go away for a long weekend.

Queues were only big on the weekend, during the week we walked on to rides like IASW and teacups, lines were longest for BTM (week 20min, weekend 1hr10), but it was certainly quieter then than in April this year. We got space for the parade 10 min before it started for instance - we had to stand 40min in April.

Our area's half-term is also Monday 26 to Friday 30 May 2008.

I would do the first week as the Mon 26th is also a UK public holiday, so more folks go away for a long weekend.

I would go for the first week also.
