This is my first cruise, but I read a post from last year that said to visit Guest Services once you board the ship. They'll give you a "I'm Celebrating" or birthday button, depending on which one you need.

Our youngest will be celebrating her 7th Birthday on May 21st and this is her first Disney experience. We are in groups of ten rooms a peice. Each has a classic Disney character name. You are the first room in group Daisy.
I'll just need a little information :

1. Cabin Number:
2. Number of adults/children:
3. Age of each child: (optional- name, gender, favorite characters)
4. Food allergies, special celebrations

There are awesome FE gift ideas on Pinterest and Etsy.There is also good information on Disboards!

I think most people give individual child gifts and either individual adult gifts or couple gifts. Whatever works best for you!

Don't forget the gifts can be homemade too!

This is actually our first time participating as well, so I completely understand. But, yes! You can all participate. You can definately include yourselves on the pocket holder that you hang outside your stateroom door.

You can buy a pocket holder from Etsy, eBay, or Amazon. Or you can even make one at home. You can find instructions on Disboards, Pinterest, and Google.

I'm so excited! It will be so much fun!

How long does it take to fill up a new group? Do you think we will have ten?

It has been taking abut a month on average. We have three groups so far. I'm suspecting that the closer we get to our cruise date, people will sign up a little faster.

The deadline to sign up has been set at April 20th to give time to prepare gifts. But, I can extend that if we need to, as long as you're comfortable with the time.

I really don't think group Daisy will have any problems filling up though!! I think there will be ten... they may just sign up all clumped together.
