Hi Laura
The Big
Red Boat (Premier Cruise Lines) was my first cruise. We had some fun (3 friends and myself) but I didn't really know any better. The boat was old, small, and rickety (vibrations from the motors made the springs in my bed rattle all nite). The entertainment was .... (hmmm, I can't remember, so what does that tell you). At dinner, we sat with a family of four who didn't have much to say. And finally, our day at their private island was canceled so we spent 2 days in Nassau. Other than that, it was nice to get away and my friends and I made the best with what we had.
I was actually a little embarrassed when the ship pulled into Nassau. Compared to the other cruise ships, we were like a dented-up red Yugo in a parking lot full of Rolls Royce's.

Granted, the
DCL Magic is relatively small, but it is very elegant, clean, and beautiful (like a Lambourgini in a parking lot of Limo's).
The pictures I have are not digital; they are probably in a shoe box somewhere around the house.
