Fish Extender - undecided if we'll participate. not sure I want people dropping stuff by at all hours since we have 2 little ones who may be sleeping.
From what I understand, the Fish Extenders hang outside your door and things could be quietly put in so it would be just like someone was walking past your door.
OF COURSE you can bring your kids!!!!!

I dont mind at all....As a matter of fact I have a few ideas in mind already that I will share once I get them finalized for everyone to vote on (the design) then I will work on the buttons and such (Im thinking of making the design available to those who want shirts and also making up some buttons or such for the others that prefer not to have the shirts) 
Yea like Laura said, It is hung outside of your door and no one would knock or bother the people inside. You wont even probably know that anyone has been there unless you check your pockets on the Fish Extender
Im going to bring my son...he is pretty much attached at the hips anyways so it wont be hard to do LOL I cant believe that he is going to be 3 EEKS where has the time gone??? Anyhoo Children are welcome to the meet

Ok, this is from someone else's Trip Report (the April 19, 2008 Western). It briefly describes their Dis Meet (photo's removed):

April Showers of Happiness Dismeet
So we ate some cake quickly and then it was time to head off for the Dismeet. I was very excited about this because it meant I'd be meeting some of the folks I'd been hanging out online with for weeks and weeks.
The Promenade Lounge was a wonderful suggestion for where to have the meet but like most places on the ship it wasn't set up for a large group of people. The chairs were set around small tables in a four top fashion (4 chairs to a table). The first thing I suggested was that we pull the chairs out into a large circle so everyone would feel included. I guess from there I just kind of took over. Call it my Type A personality. Call it a function of my over-sized mouth. Call it an occupational hazard of being a Scout leader. Call it what you want but I just kind of do that sometimes. No one seemed to mind and if they did they were very kind about it and encouraged me (dangerous thing to do sometimes).
The first part of our meet was spent with everyone introducing themselves. The turnout we had was amazing! I'd never done any Dismeets before but even I was impressed at how many people were able to make it down to the meet. I later heard that it was phenomenally successful as a Dismeet as usually only a couple of families will show up. I think that was a function of all the fun we had on the boards leading up to the cruise. In fact, our cruise thread is still going because folks are still sharing and some real friendships have been made.
After the introductions we went into the Yankee Trade. I've heard this called by other names but basically it's everyone that wants to participate brings a gift. Then you draw numbers. Number 1 gets to go pick a gift and opens it. Number 2 can decide to "steal" the gift from number 1 or go get one off the table. Number 3 can "steal" from 1 or 2 or go get one off the table. And so it goes. We had decided to divvy our gifts into "child", "teen" and "adult" categories. So we got all the gifts put out on the table in their separate categories and then Karen made up numbers because she had the foresight to bring a pad of sticky notes. We were going to use King Charming's hat from which to draw numbers but by that time he'd disappeared to parts unknown. First we did the kids. I don't think any of them "stole" gifts and everyone seemed happy with what they got.
Here's DS12 opening his gift. He loved the rubber duckies! Despite the fact that he tries to act all cool around his friends, he's still my baby.
Here's DS14 participating in the Yankee Trade. Only 2 teens participated and because of a "steal" they each ended up going home with what they brought. I tried to get something specific to Tallahassee and all I could come up with for this age level is a crossword puzzle book and a key chain.
Then it was time for the adults to have a go at it. Let's just say there was more "stealing" going on with this group. Of course, it was all in fun and I believe everyone had a great time.
At the end of the meet we took a picture of all of us. I didn't have one taken with my camera because I figured I'd get one from someone else. There's been one posted on our thread that I'm going to use in my scrapbook but quite frankly, I'm too lazy to go find it right now. But we did have probably about 100 people there total. It was a fantastic start to the trip and it was so much fun having so many people that knew each other. It made our week like living in the small town in which I grew up because every time you turned a corner you ran into someone you knew.

And what you do is each member that decides to participate in the Exchange Buys or makes one of these and has them hung by their stateroom door. Then Everyone gets or makes gifts or brings something special for each person participating in the exchange. You dont have to give much, it isnt to break the bank so to speak. But its something fun and its neat coming back to your room and having a gift or two waiting for you
On the other meet that I am on, They made a list of who all is participating and then their stateroom Numbers and AGE and/or occassion of who all is traveling (in case you want to do something related for gifts) and Each person gets a gift for everyone (whatever you want).
You can assign people to give their gifts on certain days if you want everyone to get a gift each day or if you like or it can be a free for all (meaning you can give them out whenever you want to during the cruise). But each person is supposed to get a gift Also you can either just get gifts for certain ones or you can get gifts for everyone thats participating (depends on what the rules are going to be) for the cruise meet that I am on for October, You must bring something for everyone on the list...about 16 people so far participating on that one. Does anyone have anything in specific that they would like to see in the design for the shirts,buttons or design in general??? Im open to all ideas and suggestions

Hey mom, I was wondering if you could possibly supply me with a cool Mickey head design (doesnt have to be the one that you showed me that you did, but maybe something similiar or whatever you would like because I might add that into one of the designs to see how everyone likes it.
