May 19, 2013 Dream of the Bahamas

Will you post an "official" FE list for our May 19 participants? and When can we expect it?? Not sure how that works. This is our first time doing the cruise!

I am working on getting it on her with a link. It is current on facebook. Do you have a facebook? If not, let me know. Hope to talk with you soon!

I’m so excited! I just booked our cruise over the weekend and can’t wait for our 2nd cruise on the Dream! We got to go on this exact cruise last year (5/20-5/24/12) and literally had the time of our lives, had to make it happen again!
From Philly, Pa. My family of 5 will be on deck 7 with 2nd dinner.

Me- Joey 39
DW- Beckie 39
DD- Vanessa 20
DS- Jared 13
DD- Victoria 11

Not certain of all the lingo but I hope they’re right ^
Hope to meet some of you and share the fun!
P.s. 1st timers: bring something for Pirate night!!

Hey Nax,

Yeah, we're flying the morning of the cruise leaving Philly at 7am. What about you guys?

Hello everyone!

Going on our first Disney Cruise! Complete newbies, but learned about the fish extender idea and want to participate.

Me, my husband and my daughter(8) will be sailing on May 19, 2013! So excited!

Hi! This will be our first cruise ever. We are so excited and just found out about this board. We are a family of four from Knoxville, Tn.
Rick
Jodi
Emma 9
Abby 4 (almost 5 she would say)
How do we go about getting involved in the fish extender?
:wave2:

April, here our stateoom numbers for the google doc:

6514 & 6512

Also, Morgan is now 14, sorry for the mistake.

It's a small world (bad pun I know!) - My husband used to work in ENT! But the on-call and late night/early am emergency surgeries didn't work well for our family life. Now he is in sleep medicine although he still sometimes picks up shifts in Urgent Care because his career start was in ER and he really likes that type of environment. I am hospital based as well and manage a building which is total joint, Rehab, and SNF - basically everything they couldn't fit into the original hospital building! Well sounds like if any of us get hurt/sick you NP's have been outed and we'll all come knocking on your door ;)

Brenda.

I am about to book a room at the Comfort Suites for our day in Nassau in order to get Atlantis passes a little cheaper. The problem is that 5 of us will be going and each room will accommodate 4. I will be buying a daypass for our othe child unless somebody else is in the same situation and wants to "split" another room. Just let me know! FYI - the best price I have found for Comfort Suites including the energy and housekeeping fees is $321.71. Has anybody found better and if so which site?

Brenda.

P.S. - We're expecting 2-8" of snow tomorrow, and we just live in Southern Missouri! Cannot wait until May for the Florida and Caribbean weather!

Hi,
We're a gay couple Anthony and Nicholas from Philly, PA. We have never taken a cruise before and from what we've read, Disney does it right! We're both kids at heart and are very excited about the splendor and magic of the boat * Disney. It's just the two of us this time, but I anticipate we'll be back with neices and nephews (and grand neices and nephews) very shortly.

Looking at the FE idea, but it seems so overwheming right now. So I'll check back later to let folks know if we'll take part.

Nice to "meet" everyone who posted before us. Hoping we can make some friends and get some first time cruise tips from those in the know.

Ant

Nick and Ant - You will LOVE IT! My husband and I took our first cruise on the Disney Magic last month and had an amazing time. I highly recommend getting daypasses to the rainforest room for couples who want some R & R. We spent a lot of time in the spa area, even my husband who is type A and doesn't ever relax had to be convinced to leave every day. Also I think the FE exchange is a lot of fun. Even though we didn't travel with children it was so much fun! Plus it gives you a lot of souvenirs to give to your grandneices/nephews.

Glad you're aboard!

Brenda.
