Thanks to Tinkerbell123, making dinner, some random chores and my book reading for tonight was thrown offtrack! She sent me the link to your TR and I spent the entire evening reading it, laughing and wondering if the writer of this TR and I are somehow related! However my husband has informed me that being a smart @$$ is not entirely hereditary(even though my oldest{20} would disagree). I truely enjoyed the sarcasm/jokes and even the woman bashing...lol. It was a teriffic read! I look forward to your next TR. Actually, since I was reading your TR, DH was kind enough to make dinner for the family! See! Thanks for the support, but it looks like the HAL cruise is out. The kids wanted to see snow, so we are going to head up north on some kind of land trip over the new years holiday.

Maybe next year when I have Disney annual passes I'll write a report of one of my trips. Lots of good material at the world.

My pics are more food porn-y, though Thanks for the tip about picking up wine glasses from the bartenders - I was glad not to drink wine out of the on the rocks glasses from the stateroom......that would be a college memory I wouldn't want to re-live......(Who are we kidding? I drank Franzia, Wild Vines, and Arbor Mist out of plastic cups in college!) Thanks again for the tip - we even took our own glasses of wine into Palo!

We've been on 3 Disney cruises with the same couple by coincidence. We remembered each other on the Dis Cruise Meets board.

If they offer some good Florida Resident rates next year on the new ship, we'll seriously consider going again. May was a good month.

It was really difficult for my wife to stay on the ship. If she did not have the spa massage booked, I'm sure we would have had to at least go to the straw market.

Loved your trip report. How much in advance do they normally release the resident rates?

Unfortunately, I think my next cruise is going to be a New Years cruise on HAL. Prices and ports are just too good to pass up.

We did an New Years on HAL last year!! We had a great time and the price was less than half of DCL. The Ryndam was a little smaller, no castaway. But it was a lot of fun. The food was better then DCL and the waflles though not mickey shapped were delicious!!!

The two times we've gotten the FL resident rate, it came out about 2 months before the cruise. Once we paid full price and the deal came out after, but our TA was watching and rebooked for us and we got a rebate.

seriously I could read your TR's all day well actually this one took me almost all day and night...I realized this was 3 years ago but why no more cruises since then?
