JC, you are so funny, you sound like me with the birthday's. Every year, my children celebrate my "29th" birthday with me...candles (29 of them!) and all! I will never be a day older. As a matter of fact, they don't even know my true age.:lmao:

Jo you can only get-away with that until you oldest turns 29...it was hard explaining why we were both celebrating our 29th...I couldn't keep a straight face and say...I had him when I was 'very' young. :rotfl:

Just over in another thread :scared1: and they mentioned Mickey Bars....:mickeybar can't wait ....getting ever closer :cool1:

Jo and Shelley,
It must be a PA thing, cuz I'm feeling  over here too. I have been for about a week, but I'm stubborn and won't go to the dr. unless I think I'm dying. I have that rattling thing going on in my lungs and a VERY stuffy nose. Darn weather....

We're still digging out this afternoon. That snow was HEAVY....mostly ice! YUCK!!

Take care of yourselves, girls!

Marcy

Okay girls, i go out of town for a night and when I get home you have added 10 full pages, and now shelly, Jo and Marcy are sick:sick: like I was earlier in the week.
:flower3: I hope you all feel better very soon. Mine only lasted a few days so hopefully the same for you. I agree though it seriuously has to do with the crazy weather.

It took me quite a while to catch up with all of you.

JC-(i'm sure it was you) you drive the truck (Explorer Sport Trac)that my DH wants to buy. Do you like it?
He wants another truck, (gave his up when we had the kids to exchange it for a mini-van)He wants something that the kids can sit comfortably in the second seat, to use as a family vehicle, but that still can be used as a truck when needed.

I haven't caught up on all of the pages of this thread yet, but I see some of you are talking about cars.
Does anyone have a Dinali (have no idea how it's spelled :confused3) ?
DH desperately wants to trade in his Jeep & buy one before our WDW trip in May.
I'm not really on board about it....the one he showed me online was $51,000 :scared1: ....
I told him we could buy points at the new Animal Kingdom Lodge villas for less than that.

Anyone have one?

Lake,
I was wondering where you were~! Hope you had a good time out of town.

J.

Marcy~

If you've had yours that long, you may have Brochitis and a sinus infection. Both will take an antibiotic to clear up. Please go see your Doctor.

Love,
Nurse Jo:upsidedow

Daisy,

We don't own a Denali, but a couple of years ago we came thisclose to buying one. I was driving a Suburban and we wanted a new one. We test drove the Denali and I thought it was nice inside. Dh loved it. But I realized that I hated driving something so big. Really, I just was never comfortable driving or parking it. It would literally take two or three tries to get it into the right space.

So, we researched cars and test drove everything under the sun and it finally came down to the Volvo XC90 or the Acura MDX. We went with the MDX. I love my car. LOVE it. Swore I'd never get rid of it...alas, they've come out with the new MDX, and it is looking pretty fine to me!;)

With that being said, some people are comfortable driving large cars. Also, you really need to take into consideration the "glut" of Suburbans, Yukons and Denali's around today. They don't hold their value as well as some of the other cars out there and, sad as it is, there is definitely a difference in quality between American and foreign cars.

HTH, Jo

PS... It also costs approximately between $60- $80 to fill up, depending on gas prices.:sad2:

Hey May'ers! Can I join your party? I'm sure Michelle will vouch for me and teach me the secret handshake.

Whoa!! That's alot!
I'm going to let DH read your post, as I know nothing about the other models you mentioned, & see what he knows about them.

It would be his vehicle, so I would probably almost never drive it, except on our trips to WDW.
I have a Chrysler Town & Country & we've been using that for our trips.
Parking the Denali does not sound like fun!
If we get one, I guess when it's time for a pit stop we'll have to change seats so that I can let him park it!!
Thanks!
