I don't know. I didn't have the LGMH last year, so this is my first time. I did look for people with them last year, but we didn't see anyone.

Hi All!

Can't wait to see those LGMH! I ordered a new baggallini today, the small wallet in black microfiber. I can't wait to see it. I hope it is what i'm looking for. I think I may try to put my name on my LGMH's somehow. We will see.

I have started walking in preparation for WDW. DH and I got up and went walking this morning. I went yesterday as well. I just don't want to be tired and my kids want to keep goin'. DS is 11 and DD is 9 so they are full of energy.

I also do Southbeach when preparing for something. So Southbeach bar for breakfast. Hotdog for lunch - Oops! Taco Salad for dinner! Yeah! Two out of three ain't bad. There's always tomorrow.

Mornin' all!

59 days....oh my.

NewCrew, please let me know how you like that particular baggallini. I've had my eye on it and keep going back and forth about getting it. DH says he wants a backpack for the trip, but we haven't found one yet.

OHHHH, this time change thing has got me! Coffee, anyone? :surfweb:
I'll take cream and sugar, please, even though it's against my diet. The scales yesterday weren't as bad as I thought, but boy, my tail is sore this morning.;)

:thumbsup2 Got our LGMH today! :jumping1:

I can't find all of the LGMH"s I had. And I had tons.

What I usually do is peel them off of the white backing and hot glue two together, back to back. Then I punch a hole in one ear (sorry Mickey) and tie a ribbon (lime green, of course) through that. Then I can tie it on anything And everything. And I do.:)

Last trip I met up with one Disser at Belle's Storybook time in the garden. It was the only one either of us saw all week, and there were quite a few of us there then.

Good Morning Everyone.
Spring looks like it may be on it's way today. The rain washed away some of the snow and the sun has melted all the rest.
Hopefully that means as a family we can start getting outside and walking in preparation to all the walking we will do at Disney.

My disney binder is becoming quite full, and each time I add something to it I think it must be ready, but then everytime come to vist the DIS, I find something else I didn't know about.
I know that this trip is going to be magical , but I am hoping it won't be too planned and that it is a bit spontaneous as well. I have planned our ADR's and which parks we want to visit on which days. But I am not making any sort of schedules while in the parks. That way we will discover everything at our own pace and enjoy all the things we do without thinking about what is ahead. :wizard:
I can't help that I am a planner, I like to plan, but this trip I want to make sure I haven't PLANNED TOO MUCH!!!!!

I will let you know!

I don't carry much, camera, cell phone, chapstick, advil, park map, rain poncho, plan for the day, sunglasses and visor which will strap onto baggallini if taken off (tickets, fastpasses are usually carried by dh). The kids carry their autograph books and pins. DD carries sunscreen and bandaides. DS usually carries his own park maps (in case he needs them.) He is quite a serious kid. Everyone carries their own rain poncho.

I think that's all we carry. We try to travel light.

I need to walk today. Yikes!

oh no! sorry you can't join us! Are you going with that big cheerleading groups that are down there at that time?

No not with a cheerleading group. DH works construction and they have a big contract starting in May, his boss asked him if he could move his vacation around...needless to say we are going in 5 days now. I have been running around all weekend like a chicken with my head cut off. I have finally got all the packing done, and travel maps, trip tix (cause we are driving from Eastern Ontario....21 hours + on the road). Just have to get some groceries for the trip on Tuesday or Wednesday and then we are on the road Thursday afternoon. It was really shot gun style, was still able to get CRT for dinner for DD and I ( I was absolutely shocked, and of course very happy), but other than that we are winging it for dinner reservations, thankfully we are not on the dining plan and we can go off-site if need be. I am hoping it is not going to be too crazy at the parks, but from what my TA tells me Port Orleans is booked solid...means busy busses! Oh well, we are going to be in the sunny south soon, can't wait to get away from this cold weather.

Hope you all have fun in May!!!! I will give report when I am back.

Take care,

H.

alright i have not caught up at all! hopefully i can tomorrow in the AM or during naps!! been crazhy busy and now i'm tired and feeling yucky!

Maelstrom – will be closed for refurbishment from April 30 through May 24.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse – will be closed for refurbishment from April 30 through May 18.

Two months! :thumbsup2

Marcy, the pretzel sticks and fillet are my favs at Le Cellier. How did you know?

Still undecided about the towncar or magical express. All because of Diet Caffiene Free Coke. Do you guys know if the have this in the Pop Food Court? Can I use my refillable mug?

Oh no, my son wants to see the treehouse so badly. He loves swiss family robinson. It's high on his list of to-do's.
Luck for us we are staying until early on the 20th so we can make a visit hopefully if everything reopens in time on the 19th.

Morning everyone!
under 60 days now.

We leave 2 months from today!!! We can't wait. I am getting so nervous. Yesterday we tested out DH's trunk of his car to see if our bags and coolers would fit. His car is really small and since we are taking the auto train it is much cheaper then our van to take it. I did make sure we had extra room just in case we wanted to buy stuff there. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Does anyone know how deep the pools at POP are? I can't decide if i need to bring anything for our 6 year old DD in case the water is too deep.

Mornin'! Just checking in. Nothing to add except bummer on the closings. I like the treehouse, just as a filler when the parks are crowded.

Oh, I do have something to ask! What dates are you planning on doing Fantasmic at MGM? As of now, my MGM day is Friday, 05/11. Anyone else????

jodi

Hollyb,

I don't know how deep the pools are at POP, but we did go to the computer pool once last trip and my 7 year old, who is teeny-tiny was able to touch. DMM probably knows the answer.

Where oh where are you, DMM??? Hope you are feeling okay. Don't feel pressured to do too much. And if you don't have one already, get a housekeeper to come a couple of times a month.;)

Jodi, just some more information...and differences between DL and the MK parks...
in DL Swiss Family Treehouse is called Tarzan's Treehouse.
We don't have meals in our castle but we have the Blue Bayou...inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean and just has hard to get reservations for this as it is for the castle.
Fantasmic is on a whole different scale...and we love the one at DL and just like the one in WDW the best place and again the hardest reservations to get for Fantasmic is the seats at the Disney Gallery Balcony with dessert buffet and the most fantastic view of Fantasmic (The Mark Twain has a part in this show).

I don't think we have scheduled any time for Fantasmic this trip, we may just wing it and see.

Hollyb- I don't know how deep the pool is... but I know that they had free lifevests for the kids to use. They were right next to the main pool and we didn't need to check them out or anything. This was 2 years ago, so maybe someone who has been there more recently can confirm. My 5 year old wore it and it worked great!

I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

alright i can't seem to find anything in here about pool depth. BUT i want to say it's 4-5ft?? We've never been in it.

The other pools start out at like 4ft and work there way to 5 i believe.

Hope you can find the answer!!
