Shelly - check in the camping section of Wal-mart for those fanny packs. I seem to remember seeing some there.

Jo - no worries. I'll have to get my BBQ fix in June when I take the kids to their Dad's.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Just call me the "better late than never" club charter member. :rotfl:

ADRs! ACK! We haven't made any yet - guess I need to do that ASAP. Any suggestions on the best place on property to celebrate Mason's first birthday? (NewCrew - want to join us for your son's induction into teenagerhood celebration?).

Ah, that is so sweet! I would love to!

There is just one problem...

We are going in April this year.

 Sea-
Planning, oh yeah, I am supposed to be planning, aren't I???

Seriously...
I haven't made any ressies or anything yet. I'm still waiting on a few things. Mark may work it so I go with him to the conference at Huntington Beach, and if I do, I've got to wait until his flights are booked, etc. And then, we may just end up staying at what ever hotel they book for the entire trip.

There are some of our friends that will be there too that we knew from Arkansas and Mark works with, so we are still trying to get all of that straight before I make any definitive plans.

AND, then comes the part about taxes. I'm sorta' scared to even take it to the accountant.
Anyway, a lot of moving parts going on in this vacation to your state, LOL.

Jo

You better get those ADR's made!! Are you doing the dining plan?

For your son's birthday I would suggest breakfast at Crystal Palace! pooh: :tigger: :eeyore: We did this for my son's 4th birthday in 2005. It was awesome! :goodvibes Our waitress sang to him, we got extra attention from the characters, he got a cupcake with a candle, and our table was sprinkled with pixie dust (mickey confetti!) ! pixiedust: It was very magical!

No dining plan this time - we are just going to wing it for the most part. Kona is always a must for us though so I need to make that ADR if nothing else then of course something fun for the birthday. Crystal Palace sounds fun - DS loves Pooh!

Happy Belated Anniversary Mayers!:grouphug:

The weather is driving me crazy...freezing one day and melting the next. Know wonder no one can shake the cough and colds this year.

Hey Seacrest how is that Cali weather...any thing good coming our way.
Now that christmas is through... I will admit that this former Winter loving girl, would like to get back outside into some warmer weather.

Yeah! I now have permission to go twice! :woohoo: What do you think DH will say? :scratchin

CP does sound sweet. I just love it there! CM is fun too, but if he likes Pooh go with CP! ::yes::

What about Hollywood and Vine? I've never eaten there, but I think it was DMM that said her kids loved it...

Jo

I think Lake went there too! Hollywood and Vine that is!

I think we rode the bus together when you were on your way to that breakfast.

Hi Lake! Are your colds still hanging on?

My DS went back to school today from having the flu. I imagine he will have a mental meltdown :crazy2: when he comes home today due to the stacks of home work he will have!

:mic: Good News! No one else in the NewCrew family has shown signs of the flu! :woohoo:

NC: No lunch plans yet...only 10:25...but I am thinking about it now that you mentioned it.

Shelly: I will keep my eyes out for those fanny packs and take some pictures for you too.

Lake: It was suppose to rain yesterday and the rest of this week, but it seems to have broken up. There are still some dark clouds in the sky, but right now it is sunny here. Hopefully, we are finished with all this rain now. Did you see the video of the rain when we drove down to DL? OMG, I was almost ready to turn around and head back home, but my wife said keep on going.

Jo: We should make plans for the Blue Bayou as you know your DL dates. It will be very busy that holiday weekend.
