Last day of school here and our town's Strawberry Festival this weekend. And the boys are having a friend over for a sleepover tonight! Fun, Fun !!

Schools out already for a lot of you.

School doesnt let out here until the 27th, so still three weeks to go. We also don't go back to school until September 4th either.

I wish all of you and your children a fun and safe summer vacation.


Just got my credit card bill from disney- with a mysterious $106.00 charge- with a billing date of two days after we left. Went through all the receipts and it doesn't match up to anything. I think it might be a charge for the room for the last night. Since we added on an additional day, that was not included in our original package. It turned out cheaper to fly home sunday morning than on saturday- so we booked a room only stay for saturday night and flew out sunday. If that's what it is, the problem is, that nights room charge was paid to our AAA agent three months before we left. And all the other charges on my bill have the correct billing dates, and correspond with the receipts (trust me I kept everything)- why is this one for two days after we left.
I called Disney- and received the answering machine- so hopefully someone will return my call, and we'll find out what it is.

hello everyone and checking in. It's been a busy past few days, but my father is doing well, thank you so much for continuing to keep us all in your prayers. I have an OB appt. tomorow and will head off to the hospital from there, so i will hopefully check in again on sunday thanks again!

Well - I called again and spoke to Adam at Disney!
It turns out that not only was there a 106.00 charge on May 21st, but also a 136.00 charge for May 25th under my card number. (WHAT??????)
I told him that they were errors, and read him a list of the charges that do belong to me. After listening and working on it with me, sure enough he agreed with me...thank god. I was refunded the full amounts , plus he worked out the differneces in the exchange rates, so that I wouldn't lose money that way either. Way to go Adam! So all is well again.

Today, I am at home and my wife, son and are at Disneyland. One of my wife's colleagues is going with her and she is bringing a 15 year old girl with her that has never been to DL before. She is from Hawaii.

So expect a mini-TR from in the next day or two.

DS is going to Silver Dollar City in Branson MO this week. I think DD is going to my mom's. They are going to have a fun week!

Tuesday will mark one month since we arrived at the World! It seems like it was six months ago. I check airfare everyday. These APs are making me want to go back so badly.

So, I have been talking to Dh about Disney again. I want to go in December. He said there is a very good chance of us going. So tomorrow I am going to make the adr's(just in case). I want to go Dec 8th-Dec 14th.

Has anyone gone in December? I love christmas and would love to see it Disney style.
