Thank you everyone for the kind words ::yes:: It means so much. Right now we are waiting for the surgeons to get back to us, as it seems that they are transferring my dad to another hopsital and they will be postponing the operation due to the transfer. grr.... I hope it's nothing major that they have to wait. thanks again!

DisneyMommyMichelle,

Im here for you. I know you don't know me, but I went in May 2007. I am hoping so much that everything goes really well.

Hi Michelle, I'm praying for your family and your Dad, I think our trips in Pop overlapped. Just hang in there. I remember you telling us about your Dad prior to the trip. I was in the same boat. My father in law had to go through heart procedures just as we were leaving. I actually flew out with my son the day her came home from the hospital. It can be so frustrating with the delays etc... My father in law has Kidney disease so they had to start him on a lifetime treatment of dialysis prior to starting the heart stents etc.. It was very scary. So far so good, they did what they could without giving him open heart again, (he had it 15 years ago) the dialysis is still an adjustment. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Remeber to take care of yourself!
All the best, Dana

DMM....I'm sorry to hear about your Dad...I'm keeping him and you in my thoughts and prayers.

Seacrest that is an awesome video!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 2 Very Enthusiastic Thumbs Up!

DMM - Let us know how things are with your dad.

Seacrest - That video was too cute! :snooty:

Thanks for the props everyone.

Marcy: We live about 45 miles away from DL.

My wife and I did not go into the park but my son, who has an AP went in for about 3 hours. He wanted to do a few more VMK quests before the permenantly closed that down.

We had lunch at Tony Roma's which is directly across the street from DL. So while my son was in DL, my wife and I decided to walk around the DL hotel and DTD complexes and take a few pics with Snooty and tell a little story.

There will be more Snooty adventures coming. My wife and son are going to DL this Saturday, so stay tuned!

Hi everyone!

Hope all goes well with your Dad Michelle. We will keep him in our prayers.

Glad your dog is okay Jo!

The other day DS 8 comes up to me and says - hey mommy - "Hello, and welcome aboard. For those of you just joining us. . . . . . " In the exact voice of the monorail announcement!! :rotfl: That kid is hilarious!! Now they are both going around the house saying - Hello and welcome aboard!! All the time and laughing their heads off!! :lmao:

So after thinking about how far away May 2009 is we are thinking about changing our plans AGAIN!! As I told you we would! We really wanted to take the kids to the beach next year, but just don't know how it will live up to Disney. So we are thinking maybe we should just stick with what we know is good! Well, GREAT actually!

Anyone going next MAY ???

I would love to go, but it is our 25th wedding anniversary next year and I think I have to do something a little bit different.

If you can swing it - go for Disney.

I live near the beach and yea, it is nice, but there is only so much you can do. If your kids surf or boogie board, then it is an extra treat to do it for a solid week, otherwise, what else do you do when you are there?

My kid surfs every Friday and he prefers Disney over surfing/beach, unless we went to Hawaii or Fiji. LOL!

I am I am!! I told dh that I want to go in Jan then he said yes but then I told him that we are I decided on May. So there it is May 2008!!! Lets do it

Hey!

I drove my ds to tennis camp this morning. It is about an hour round trip which is no big deal around here, pretty typical. As soon as I came in they called and said he was sick. So, I turn around and drive back to pick him up. We come home. He lays around a little and then eats a HUGE lunch and says he feels great!

It is amazing how kids can recover.

Well I am glad ds isnt sick then. :)

I think milk + running is not a good combination for him. He did make it off the courts before he lost his breakfast. I am going to have him drink gator ade tomorrow for breakfast. :thumbsup2 I think this will sit better on his stomach in the heat. He is also used to playing tennis indoors, so I am sure if got hot right away it is just wasn't a good combo.

He also downed a gatorade as soon as he got home and said that made him feel better immediately.

Yea, you're probably right Seacrest. . . I know I would definitely be bored after a day or so at the beach. I'm not sure about the rest of the family. . . We don't surf or anything like that living in PA, so it would just be playing in the sand and swimming!

So we may just do Disney next May!! Of course it will depend on our tax refund again!!

So if we stay at CSR what would be a good location/section to request? Keep in mind we would be traveling via Disney transportation, so something close to a bus stop, but quiet. Close to food court & pool, but not too close, etc. I don't ask for much, do I ?!?!? :lmao:

Okay, MAY 2008 it is!!! (probably!)

Huggie - Where will you stay this time? We are thinking about trying Coronado Springs. . . Or going back to Caribbean Beach. . . DH wants to stay at the Contemporary, but I'm afraid we just can't swing it!

Will you go the same week as this year? We are thinking the same week or maybe a week earlier. . .
