Hey everyone...

JO yes i am still planning on my may trip....i can't wait.

i was flipping through channels last night and noticed on the travel channel they were giving specials on WDW. i sat there until 12 watching them... then i was in such a dis mood that i went to disney travel channel on demand and watched them.. i so want to be there right now.....

Hey Mari! :yay: My mom called me last night and said that they were having a Disney special on the travel channel and it was going to be all about Disney at Christmas! :santa: She was taping it for me since I don't have the travel channel (the joys of being a stay-at-home mom!). I am so excited to see it now!!

Then I got my mail today and I got mail from Disney!! It is one of those "special trip planning" info packets. It has our last name on it and says - We're so happy you're coming back in May! :snooty: I'm so happy too!!! It has information and pictures of CSR. How exciting! :woohoo:

Evening mayers! Still lots of snow and ice, but things are starting to clear up around here.

 Hi Mari! How are you?

Love the videos Seacrest! :santa: DS6 especially loved  seeing Minnie in her Christmas dress!!

Sulley - Be careful on all that ice! I can't believe you leave for Disney in 5 weeks! :yay: You'll have to give me a January report, since I am considering January for my next trip!

What's everybody up to today?

Hey Shelly!
I'll be glad to do live reports as often as possible and definitely for January :)

Hey everyone...

JO yes i am still planning on my may trip....i can't wait.

I love the Disney travel channel shows...I have them all Tivo-ed, I need to watch the one from yesterday yet....

Lets' see what am I up to today...

I am celebrating the arrival of my new niece.princess:

My little brother and his wife welcomed their first child yesterday a little girl they named Meredith (a family name). We are so excited and so happy for them. This is my sister in law who was serving in Afghanistan this time last year. It is so nice to see such a joyous event for them. Yahhh!!!!

Unfortunatly for me they work out of CFB Edmonton, Alberta.... so we are along way away and I can't see her. But I may have to plan another trip west soon.

:cloud9: Welcome Princess Meredith! :cutie: Love that name!

Hey everyone.... HORRIBLE day here in NJ... Snow Storm.... that means I'm stuck home all day.... oh well i'll clean out my closet and my DD rooms....

Sea - GREAT pictures.....

Hello everyone. What a yucky day here! :cold: :boat:  It was freezing rain early this morning so school had a 2 hour delay. Now it's just raining and raining and raining. . . My yard is going to turn into a pond! And we are supposed to get a bunch of snow starting tonight or tomorrow. . . :sad2: We usually don't get weather this nasty until Jan & Feb!

So what's going on today with everybody else??? Somebody tell me something good!! This weather is depressing. It's just too many days until MAY! :rotfl:

I understand your pain.... I HATE weather like that. I'm having the same thing here. I've been keeping occupied by looking at disney things and doing laundry....

Something good is that my DH might want to stay in POLY he says... he wants to try a deluxe resort B4 my DD has to really pay anything since she is below 3 she only pays for airfare. Now i have to look into Deluxe resorts and price difference....

Hi guys!

Mari - glad you like the slide show - thanks!

Shelly - Sorry to hear your weather is bad. The weather is nice here today, so I walked to my office. The air is so clean, you could see the snow on the San Bernandino mountains which is about 70 miles away from my house.

I don't normally have a big breakfast everyday, but today I felt really hungry for some reason so I decided to hit Rae's Diner. This is a old place has been in my neighborhood for decades. It has all the classic diner looks, the counter, neon sign, and formica tables. The prices are cheap - you can get biscuits and gravy for $1.85! Today I had 2 scrambled eggs dry, with bacon, potatoes, sourdough toast and hot tea. I am so filled up, I don't think I will have much for lunch today. Anyways, here is someones review and pics of Rae's on yelp.com to give you a feel of the place I went to today.

Oooohhh Mari!! The Poly!! That would be so awesome for you! Except I was hoping to see you at Coronado Springs!

I'm still waiting on a good airfare price. . . I keep thinking it should come down soon, but I guess it was January last year when I bought the tickets.

I am also still looking for good airfare... hopefully soon they will have something i will feel alot better when airfare is purchased....

Sea that breakfast sounds Yummy.....

Off to prepare lunch for me and DD.... check in later......

Hi all!

how's it going?

The weather is  . yep, yuk, yuk, yuk.

Our schools weren't cancelled or delayed this morning. Belle had a dental appt and then I went and did some shopping for Christmas.

I have so much i am having to haul to SC! Oh my, how fun. We leave in 8 sleeps!:)

Okay, why do football jerseys cost so dang much????? Bought DD a Steeler's one for $60 for Christmas. And Drew is getting a UF #15 (ahem ,the
He15man winner ;) )...I paid $50 for his.

Mari, the Poly! sigh. it is beautiful.
For $400 more than I am paying for POFQ we could have stayed there, but only in one room. Um, no, not with my kids.:rotfl: And especially not for 9 days! I think we all would be killing each other after one.:rotfl2: I am planning on dinner at O'Hana and watching fireworks from the beach there one night, though. JC stayed there last year, she loves it and could probably give you ideas.

Sea~ love diners. Ate at one in NYC for breakfast one morning and had the best french toast I have ever eaten...ever... for $1.99!!!!! I said um, I think you mischarged me. Our whole fam ate there for $12! With tip! And we were stuffed all day.

Shelly~ Could you please call Mother Nature and let her know I am NOT okay with what she is doing...?:rolleyes1

Mella~ Congrats on 500! :woohoo:
Jo

Hi Jo,

Too bad about your weather - sending you some SoCal sun right now! :cool1:

$1.99 for french toast in NYC??? That is a incredible deal in that town.

The reason why the sports shirts are so much is because of the licensing costs the manufacture pays to the NFL and other leagues.

I was involved in the sports business for a while was blown away at the yearly fees these leagues charge manufacturers to print or sew their logo on your product. It is a big business.

Have a good day!

Seacrest

good morning...

well another mild day here...and still no snow... hmm... i do believe i stilll live in canada. we just happen to live in that little pocket, in the southern most point of canada i guess where lake erie and lake huron meet, and declare this a no snow zone...haha
hopefully there will be snow for christmas.
luckily next weekend we are driving to my parents for a few days up there, and they have some snow so we can tobaggon and get that christmas feeling while we are there.

jodi- only 7 more days.
please give charleston a big hug for me...and tell your beautiful home town that the honourary carolina girl misses it already...

mari - poly that is so great.
dh and i loved pop, but one of these days we are going to splurge and hopefully stay at a deluxe.. if we ever go at christmas i want to do wilderness lodge... i think it would be beautiful. we have friends who love poly and stay there every time.

seacrest... your lunch adventures always sound so good and so much fun...it inspires this s.a.h.m...who is eating grilled cheese sandwiches and soup with the kids.

well.. off to the library this morning with the youngest. Ds is at school, and DH is having his work christmas luncheon today.. he made some great turkey wraps for it. wish he would have left some here...haha

Huggie- where r u???

Lake - I will send you snow if you want. you can take mine...

Jo - Your trip is pretty soon. It must feel so great to go back to your hometown. I live about 10 minutes from where I grew up and my DD sitter is in the same town so i have no chance to miss it.

I'm getting ready to go to my DMother's house this morning. Will check in later...
