Thanks everyone for your welcome and suggestions regarding the Park Hopper, I am going to go with the base ticket and see how we do. I do have a another question:

Fridge Swap? - I have been reading some threads on here regarding fridge swaps and I was wondering if any of you have had experience with this. We are staying at POP so we will definitely need a fridge. I was going to just rent one from the hotel and pay the $10 per night, but would love to save some money if I can. How difficult is this?

Groceries - Does anyone use those services that deliver groceries? I would like to eat breakfast in our room on the days that we dont attend a character breakfast. Is it easier or cheaper to just take a cab to a local grocery store? Would it be impractical to ship a toaster down there? I would just give it away to someone before we leave.

Sorry to bombard you all. This is our first trip, so I am trying to plan ahead for as much as I can.

TIA!

I've never done a fridge swap, but I think some people on here have. And I know there are a bunch of threads on it.

There is also a grocery delivery service that a lot of people use, but I never have. I know a lot of people send stuff down ahead of time in the mail. What I usually do is pack one whole suitcase of food. Such as cereal breakfast bars, snacks, and things like that. Then we use that suitcase to bring home our souveniers in! We always eat a light breakfast in the room unless we have character breakfast. That way we have only had a light breakfast so we can go to an early lunch and avoid the crowds!

My...you all have been busy...so much reading...

Hiya Mayers!!! How cool that you all got to meet! I'm jealous!!!!

I second the emotion of STAYING AWAY from San ANgel Inn, it is just plain awful!! Spoken from someone who makes, eats and lives and breathes Mexican food :)

I'm doing well, just exhausted trying to get back into the swing of things! The kids are all adjusting well too!! Roman gets his next hearing test next week and we are still hoping all goes well. Thanks for all the thoughts MAYers!!

DMM...so good to hear from you...you are always in my thoughts...

Good morning everyone (almost afternoon!) another full day ahead of me, but I wanted to drop in and say thanks for everyone that is still thinking of me :) You MAYers are fabulous!! We've pinned down our trip for next year finally!!

November 28th-December 8th as of now Yacht Club, but we are being verryt flexible in case we decide to go to MExico for longer or shorter. It all depends on that trip :) on what our EXACT dates will be, but right now that's what we have! Anyone else going at that time??

Jordans_mommie, You are now known as JM:goodvibes

Anyway, JM, I have done a fridge swap, but not throught the DIS. I went through Tour Guide Mike (or, TGM) for mine. It worked out fabulous. Please don't pay $10 a day. Sign up for a swap. It is so worth it. Also, ship a box to the resort with cereal, etc in it. They will hold it for you until you arrive. Very easy.

Our family always rents a car so we always go to the grocery store when we get there. But Publix is close by so if you want to get a taxi, it shouldn't cost a lot if you want to pick up a few things.

Anything else???

Hi All - how are you doing?

We are having a beautiful day here in SoCal. Need to get out and take a walk and enjoy the fresh air.

Take care - Seacrest

:santa: I just booked a weekend in Wheeling WV for December! :santa: Since I can't go to WDW (Huggie!)! They have a huge Festival of Lights Display and shopping and Christmas activities. We've always wanted to go but just have never gotten around to it.

Ever heard of it JO? It's about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

It's no Disney, but it'll have to do for now! :snooty:

I'm not Jo, but I've heard of it. I think I read an article about it in the newspaper when I was living in WV and one of the girls in my dorm was from up there and told me how neat it was at Christmastime (I'm a holiday freak! I love Christmas, in fact, it's almost time to bust out the Christmas music :) )
