If you don't mind i'd like to ask a question:

What at WDW makes you feel like your at WDW?

For me it's when I walk from the Poly to the GF and see a monorail overhead, or when driving into WDW and I see the TOT!

You?

For me, it's once I get finished checking in and they hand me the room key, then I know for sure that I'm there and all is well.

This time on the airplane i'll be listening to 2 hrs and 40 mins of non-stop disney music!! Oh I thought we could share what time the planes leave and land just for fun:

Air Canada May 9th 2007: Depart-9:10am Arrive: 11:50am

We can have a late lunch than go to the arcade and play that addicting game!

Here is what I usually do when I purchase or lease new caars:

1. Always do the deal near the last 4 or 5 days of the month - the sales people/managers need to make their quota and are most willing to deal.

2. If you are going to finance your car, figure out your budget and finance it through your bank. Now you have your total purchase money ready to go and you are going into the dealership with cash on hand. Your bank can usually give you a better rate on loan because you have done business with them than a dealership.

3. Once you have got your check from the bank, you are now a cash buyer and you can negotiate only on price. Find the car you want, the features, color, etc. and search Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) and find the dealer invoice price, the price they paid for the car from the manufacturer. You should never pay over $500 this price. Print out this info and take it to the dealer.

4. Tell the dealer to give you a printed itemized quotation based upon the kbb.com pricing (be sure to include all your features) plus tax and license ONLY. Remind them you are going to write them a check and send them on their way to do their job. Tell them you are not going to do the deal unless they give you what you want. They will come back, bring a manager, bla bla bla...don't buy it. Get your printed quotation from them - tell they have 15 minutes. Be sure to have the sales manager sign the quote to make it legit.

5. If they come back with the itemized quotation, look it over carefully - does it have listed all the features, color? leather? sat radio? engine size? model?, is the price right? license and tax only? Did the SM sign the quote? If you like what you see - tell them it is a deal and go to the sales office.

If you have any questions, you can PM me. Since I live in LA, we have tons of dealerships and I usually do this by fax and pit the guys against each other. It is funny to see them fight over who can give you the best deal.

I don't usually buy extended warranties - I sell off my cars about every 3 or 4 years. So it is no use for me. If you keep a car for more than 3 years - get one and add that to your feature want list.

Thank you!! :thumbsup2
We just looked up the car we were looking at ..... :furious:
All I can say is WOW! I feel violated. I'm glad we didn't buy it!

We will take your advise 100% Thank you again!

Seacrest- Thanks for that car info. We are going to buy a minivan next year. I am going to save this for then. :thumbsup2

I am so tired. I just went outside and ripped up some of the yard. We have patches with no grass so we are desperately trying to fix it. What a pain.

okay! I honestly just had to read through 46 pages to get caught up with you all.
The closer the time comes to the trip, the less time I am finding to keep up to date with you all. So much to do, and not much time to do it in. I am actually quite far along on the packing, and my binder of WDW info is almost too full.

Can't wait to bump into as many as I can.
in just two short weeks, although this past week seemed long to me.:rolleyes1

I know Lake...I was looking at our plans and I'm wondering about making 2 days for EPCOT. :upsidedow

Will the Garden Festival still be in full swing? I'm thinking if it is we will need plenty of time to take all that in as well.

QUOTE FROM ANOTHER THREADA girl I work with had friends that returned from POP in March with some extra travelers. Had to get her whole house exterminated. The exterminator did tell her next time to take a flash lite & lift the sheets & the mattress/boxspring to check for the little buggers. He also said to look in dresser drawers & all along the headboard. The white powder in the drawers is from someone trying to get rid of bedbugs that were already there. Have read a little more online & they say to not put luggage on the bed or floor ( which I always do of course) & to really check the bed for the bugs because they are visable or for rusty colored stains-left from the bugs. I mean we all can't go around totally paranoid, but I guess doing this quick little inspection could save alot of aggravation later. I myself will be checking into POR on Thurs. And yes, I will be bringing my little flashlite!!!! Good luck to all.END QUOTE

DMM please tell me you haven't ever had this problem at POP or heard of this at POP!!?? :scared1:

We spent 8 nights at CBR last May & LOVED  it.

We had absolutely NO problems.
The place is beautiful. Mousekeeping was great (even some towel animals)!

If we were not in DVC now, we'd be going back to CBR for our trip in 12 days.
