We are going out, thank goodness!

I'll be leaving the board in just a few minutes...getting my hair done for tonight....we will celebrate Easter tonight with family..we decided on tonight for one reason and one reason only...to change our Easter Brunch luck... for the last few years we have gone out to brunch only to have odd little disasters happen...last year it was floods...and we had brunch on the river.... well almost in the river

So I will be off the board for the rest of today...

I'm not a shoes and socks girl either. We're going to the new shopping plaza in town today to go to the movies, and I'm going to stop into the New Balance store there. I found a pair of NB slides on-line, and I want to try them on in person before I buy. I like the idea of a slide that wears like a sneaker.

I also have the "fake" Croc flip-flops from Payless that I'll bring, and I'm not sure what else.

I've looked at the Merrell slides too....anyone own a pair of those?

Socks...SOCKS.... SSsshhhhhhhh! don't tell Julie....I don't even like shoes....I own maybe 10 pairs of shoes and sandals...and 4 pairs of socks....I'm a crocs kind of girl..The last shoes I bought were my Disney crocs...I love my CROCS...

I have some disney crocs too I even got some crocs for the DH for the upcoming trip. So crocs are ok Not everyone has to be like me and have pretty much a diff pair of shoes to wear each day of their trip (I'm exagerrating...or am I? ).

I've looked at the Merrell slides too....anyone own a pair of those?

I've had pretty good success with any of the merrell shoes I've bought in the past. I got some merrell boots knee high boots (yes, they make boots!) I got this year that are extremely comfy. My hiking boots are also merrells. I cannot say, however, that I have tried the slides.

Here is another recommendation for some of the ladies that may be after a good walking tennis shoe. I have some keen trail-running mary jane tennis shoes (http://www.rei.com/product/740595?vcat=REI_SSHP_WOMENS_CLOTHING_TOC) I used last October at DL. They worked really really well.

I too am a no socks girls.
My reebok sandals, and my crocs will be packed.

My favorite sandals I ever owned were my Merrells.
Only I loved them so much I wore the soles right out of them. I had them 10 years though. Wish I could find another pair like them.

they are so adorable.

I bought my niece a mickey cutie t-shirt for her birthday tomorrow.
She is going to disney with us, so her birthday and the kids easter gifts are both disney themed.

so did we shelly-
my parents live about 2 hours north of us, and they have so much snow the highway is closed and the kids are all tobaggoning. We had no snow for christmas- but easter a ton of it. Go Figure!
