Message to Marcy--

Hope everything is going well for you. I said a prayer first thing for you this morning.:)

Jo

Thanks Jo, JC and Shelly!!

I'm here. The appointment went fast. It took me longer to snap out of the drugs they gave me than the procedure itself. They took two biopsies, one of my stomach and one of my esophagus, so I guess I'll be waiting on those results for a little while. I came home and slept for a few hours. Man, those meds work well! LOL I wasn't under general, I was just in a "twilight" thing, but I don't remember ANYTHING. BTW, why is it that the dr. talks to you when you are completely unaware?? I can't remember a word he said!

Anyway, thanks for the prayers and thoughts! I appreciate them all, my May friends!!

I don't understand the fascination people seem to have with the Cheesecake Factory. I love cheesecake as much as the next gal; however, I'm not willing to sit/stand around for 2 hours holding some kind of vibrating pavolvian summoning coaster just to get a seat and eat some booty building cheesecake. The one in downtown Seattle always has a huge line outside of it. The food is ok, but it's not /that/ good.

The C.F. outside of Philadelphia (King of Prussia) is always packed too. My mom loves that place, so we usually go once a year. Their menu is HUGE....I have a favorite...I always get pasta. It's got veggies and stuff on it. Can't remember what it's called.

We don't have a C.F. close to where I live (the one in Philly is an hour away) so it's kind of a treat. We don't have any decent chain restaurants around here (way too many Applebee's and Red Robin's...YUCK!!)

Hey everyone!!

I am back. I went to the liquor store and stockpiled wine for Easter and whenever. :drinking1 :drinking1

I see you were all very busy posters.

Dinner tonight is fish and leftover eggplant. No meat tonight.

Easter- We go to my mom's I am bringing the stuffed mushrooms, chili dip, ham, wine, cake, cookies, brownies and rice krispie treats. This year we are having about 25 people. So it will busy and quite crowded.

I would like to be Pluto. I Love doggies :)

Ok gotta get dinner started and bake some cookies. Be back later.

Huggie, Huggie, Huggie...That line alone says Easter to me :rotfl2: I would love an invite to your family get together...:cool1:

omigosh, what happened! I went to bed last night and we were on page 198...I just sped read through 10 pages :rotfl2:

Umm...let's see...hi everybody! :wave2: Is it May yet?!?!?!?

Marcy, really glad the procedure went ok today! I had outpatient surgery done on my arm in February under that partial sedation instead of general, and it was weird. I remember bits and pieces, but the time was all mixed up. My dr. told me afterwards at one point I said to her, "You know, I can kind of feel that, but I don't care..." Hope they are able to fix your AR problem.

Michelle, thanks for the lists! And for the advice on Epcot to Boardwalk. We had planned on trying to watch from Mexico, maybe if we were lucky enough to get lagoon side seating at the Cantina, we would have even eaten dinner there. But if it's better to be on the UK/France side to get to the gate, we'll change around our plans a bit. We have no ADR's that day, were just planning on grazing and drinking our way around the world  Maybe we'll grab dinner a little early at Tangierine. Can we grab a boat right outside Epcot to get to Boardwalk? If it's really crowded, we wouldn't mind walking at all. So our only ADR that day is for dessert

Aaand...what character would I be? Well, if we go by figure, unfortunately I'm probably Daisy Duck :rolleyes1 (no offense to Daisy on here :flower3: ...I'm just looking at my wide ol' tail end) If I could *pick* any character...hm...maybe Snow White. Or Belle, 'cuz she is a bookworm. Or Mary Poppins, because she is practically perfect in every way :teeth:

How many days until you go, JC?

DF07

Hi again DF...as of today we have 32 days....here is what I know about you...going May 9th..seven days...Poly..and you have about 5 unused autograph books :thumbsup2

Are you a family going to the world? From your signature it would suggest a family of four? Is this your first trip or are you a seasoned traveler to the world?
Where are you eating for Mother's Day?

What do you like about the world...favorite ride...park...place to eat...??

Something to know about seeing IllumiNation....on the day you are going to view it check out which way the wind is blowing...there can be smoke from the fireworks and if you are downwind your view is somewhat blocked.

Well, the C. Factory will never be on my must do list again! It was the first time I had been to one. I didn't enjoy it at all, and didn't even order dessert!

Jo

CF has good desserts, but the food is average. Their menu is like a book and has way too many things in it to make me believe that they can cook all their dishes with any kind of consistency of quality. I usually get the steak because I know they can do a decent job with it. I haven't been really excited about anything else they have other than the desserts. The Godiva chocolate cheesecake is very rich and tasty.

If you want to try CF, then I recommend just going there for the desserts. And for that, you can go straight to the dessert bar and order them for take away.

Thanks for the tip :) I'll be running around Epcot, licking my finger and sticking it up in the air to see which way the wind is blowing  I've heard there is good viewing in the UK/France area. Our last night, we have dinner reservations at R&C at 7:50 -- hoping and hoping we get a patio table.

Hi all,

What a crazy week, work is so overrated espcially the over nights. Between not sleeping and having the kids home I am going crazy for sleep. Good thing I took a day off before our vacation starts so I can hopefully sleep.

Is anyone coloring Easter eggs today? DD and I right now are boiling 4 dozen eggs, after her dance class this morning the 4 of us will be up our elbows in eggs and food dye.

Wishing everyone a very happy and healthy Easter, today looks to be another crazy day for me.

Mornin' all!:dance3:

We're one day closer! YAY!!!!

Jo

Marcy-

I'm so glad things went well with your biopsies. I have been an observer to those during clinicals. The patients do sometimes say some rather interesting things, but Doctors and nurses are used to it.

When I had my tubes tied, when they were waking me up, they asked who was with me at the hospital and I said "My Dad..." He had been dead for 2 years. It's strange what your mind does to you.

Anyway, please let us know the results. Here's hoping for some help with your AR.

Jo

Morning all MAYER's one day closer.....31 days for us....:cheer2:
