I'm thrilled we are finally getting to go to WDW after all these years -- will always love DL, though, and it's a much more affordable trip for us to go there. But if you ever do get a chance, go to Ireland -- it is so beautiful, and the people are wonderful.

You sound like us. We have always gone to DL in the past it has been the far cheaper place to go. Also, I used to live in LA, so I like going back now and again to see people and places.

We will definitely go to Ireland some day. I just wanted to go to WDW first

Our son has traveled to Ireland..and loved it..said it was beautiful..he would love to take is family there in the next couple of years..Dh and I on the other hand have only ventured off to Canada and Mexico.

have you considered maybe travelling north. (okay sorry another plug for my own country)
I know the warm factor may not be here, but for quaint european like charm, you could check out Montreal or Quebec City, and even try and speak a bit of french, and feel like your in France, with the cafe's boutiques and cobblestone streets in the old parts of the city. Ottawa (our capital) is a beautiful city, and Toronto has great dining and theatre. And you can never go wrong with Banff, Whistler, and Vancouver.
