Alright i better get going for a bit!! The kids are done with painting and it's time to clean them up! :woohoo:

Garage sales are so much fun!

We usually clear $400+ dollars. When we lived in NY, we were in a community that had a neighborhood yard sale every year. When I say neighborhood, I'm talking 4,000+ homes. It would be all weekend, they had people directing traffic, they paid to park ($2 a car) and they brought in Port a potties. Over 10,000 people would show up.

We would make $600+ then. But I would leave DH for a few hours and end up buying other things! :)

JC,;)

It was in a thread last year from people posting what really irritates them.

Something that sends me into hysterics is opening up a tub of butter and seeing crumbs of toast from a previous user. I almost go into cardiac arrest! And so I was complaining about not having clean butter that morning and Voila! I got tagged.

You never know where that sly fairy is!:lmao:

Thanks Jo....:rotfl2: :rotfl2: In our house you never know what crumb you will find in the butter....:rotfl2: icbinb..

Thanks for your warm weather dance Michelle!

Hey JoBird...that neighborhood yard sale sounds great!
Wish it were near me..I'd love to go to it!!...one stop shopping!

Hi! My mother & I are having a joint yard sale next weekend at her house.
We do this every spring.
I'm going over to her house after lunch to price a bunch of stuff.

Last year, together we made $900.00!! :cool1:
We split the money 50/50..so that left me with $450.00 spending money for our annual May Disney trip.

I'm praying for nice WARM weather next Saturday...:worship:

:wave2: Morning Ms. Duck....Wow! cool spending money....:thumbsup2

Okay - I have a question for all of you Disney experts!

I know we talked about adding on days to our tickets before and adding on the non-expiring option, but it was like 150 pages ago and I can't find it!!

So here's my question: I got the 7 day "May your way" tickets with all the free add ons with my package. We are only going to use 5 days. What would it cost me to add on 3 more days and make the remaining 5 days non-expiring? Would I save any money this way or would it work out to be about the same as just buying 5 days with the next trip's package???

I'd like to think I am a fairly smart person, but I just can't seem to figure this out!!!

Thanks!!

Shelly, I'm digging for info. Be right back.

J.

Shelley, oh, that's too confusing for me.
I don't understand the non-expiring options, etc.
All we're doing is getting APs...now that I can understand!!

I let DH handle the tickets & I handle the dining.
Hope Jo can help you.

Okay, for a five day PH ticket (not including water parks and more...) it would be $246. For 7days, the price goes up to $248. Only $2 difference. Adding on the non-exp, a 7day ticket rises to $338 per ticket. That's a difference of $90 per ticket.

So, the way I *think* it works is you ONLY pay for the difference of the days ($2) plus the Non-Exp. portion ($90).

If you don't use all of the days from your water park option, you will definitely want to get the non Exp option, as days will expire within 14 days of the first usage. So, adding on the few dollars for more days is a no-brainer.

J.

If I am wrong, someone please explain it better!

Okay, I'm reading it back and now i'VE CONFUSED MYSELF!

:lmao:

Which isn't too hard, being a blonde and all.;)

I will say one more thing about getting 10 day tickets to get two trips out of it...

Dh and I have done this, but I have found that usually in order to get a great package deal, you have to buy at least a one day base ticket to the parks. So you end up with one-day tickets, which is okay if you need them, but sometimes not as cost effective as just going with an entire package.

I have bought tickets from Ticketmania and they were cheaper than going through CRO or the Disney Store.

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking about having to buy at least one days ticket with most packages. . . Boy this is confusing! :confused3

I'm going to confuse you more...

I hadn't figured on the tickets being different prices if you had the waterparks option.

For a 5day, Park hopping, waterparks and more, non exp. ticket, the cost is $341.

For a 7 day, same junk as above, the cost is $378.

So I guess the difference in buying them outright is $37.

So I'm still confused. Make sure you go to the ticket center or to the conceirge desk in your hotel and they can fix it for you, I believe, or at least help you understand.
