Good Morning Shelly How was your Easter?

Morning JC! Easter was good. DH had a 3 day weekend, which almost never happens. He usually only has Sunday's off. So the kids and I enjoyed the extra time with him. We wished we had nicer weather!!

We went to my Dad & Step-mom's last night for dinner. My Step-mother told me she's having a garage sale on May 4-5. So I said count me in!! So hopefully I can make some extra spending money for vacation!!

Garage sales are tons of fun!!!

I usually have one every summer and make $200-$400 each time. I honestly don't know how we end up with so much stuff to sell every year!!

It was in a thread last year from people posting what really irritates them.

Something that sends me into hysterics is opening up a tub of butter and seeing crumbs of toast from a previous user. I almost go into cardiac arrest! And so I was complaining about not having clean butter that morning and Voila! I got tagged.

You never know where that sly fairy is!

The other tag was my own, from a thread also last year. We had started a thread and called ourselves proud charter members...etc.

I want to erase that, but I'm afraid I would erase my butter one and anyway, my second tag wouldn't make much sense if the first one was gone.

i know! DH usually wants to throw away all our junk and then at then end of the sale and making good $$ he's always amazed at what people will buy!!

Hi! My mother & I are having a joint yard sale next weekend at her house.
We do this every spring.
I'm going over to her house after lunch to price a bunch of stuff.

Last year, together we made $900.00!!
We split the money 50/50..so that left me with $450.00 spending money for our annual May Disney trip.

I'm praying for nice WARM weather next Saturday...
