I haven't REALLY started. Everything's just sort of thrown around. Oh my.

:rotfl:

Typical Jobird Fashion.

I get it from my Dad.

He went to Germany for 6 months once and two hours before the flight, he got up and calmly put things into the suitcase for about 10 minutes then said "Okay, better get me to the airport. My flight leaves in an hour." (we were 30 minutes form the airport.) My mom almost hemhorraged.:rotfl:

Go pack! Go Pack!!!

On with the day! In two days, I'll be in Disney World!!!:woohoo:

Jo

Mark's on the way to the ER...

We think he's broken his ankle.

I'm going in a minute to meet up with him.

Please pray- hard.
Thx-
Jo

Oh my god Jo! I am so sorry. Ugh this is terrible timing... Maybe it's not broken....

What happened? I hope that you get everything done - check back in if you can, if you can't - we understand that you are swamped and I hope everything works out and you have a magical trip with your family.

Praying hard for you guys

:scared1: I hope Mark is ok!

That is awesome!

And it's not gloating. We need some good news along with the bad.

Any news Jo? It is almost time to pick the kids up from school.

HEY all.....

Jo - Sorry to hear about Mark... Sending pixie dust your way....

RF - Congrats on booking your air tickets..... it just makes it more real and set in stone.....

NC, Shelly, Sea, KB--- Hi......

Well, I'm back for two seconds and wanted to update everyone.
Good news- not broken. Thank God.
However, the ER doc said that he ripped a muscle or ligament and so he will have to wear a splint/bootie thingy for at least 4 weeks to let it heal. She said she was impressed with his high pain tolerence. She gave him pain meds which he promptly refused.

He was running outside and his foot came down on a rock and it twisted his leg while the foot stayed in one spot. Ouch.
He told me that when he did it, he fell, said a cuss word and then said, "Jodi is going to be furious." Serves him right for being so dadgum healthy.

And I WAS so mad that after I checked on him at the ER and made sure he was fine, I went to the Promenade and spent an obscene amount on clothes, makeup, shoes AND THEN...
I went to the spa.

His unfortune turned into a pampering day for me ---- I had to do something- he had my pressure all up! So there!:rotfl:

Thanks guys for all the prayers and PD sent our way... it really stinks that he's going to be hobbling around, but i am thankful it wasn't much worse.

Hugs to everyone-
Jo

Phew....

Glad that Mark's ankle isn't broken or in need of surgery. I do hate that he will be in one of those booty things.

 Maybe you can rent a wheelchair and push Mark around the entire vacation.

:rolleyes1

After one of the trainers at my gym got hurt at WDW, his wife pushed him around in a wheelchair.

I have already told my dh, if you ever get hurt and need a wheelchair on vacation, you just better rent an ECV buddy. There is no way I am pushing you around. :sad2: But I love ya! :lovestruc :upsidedow

Okay- I am back from getting the kids and can chat for a minute before I start packing. Yes, I'm really going to do it.

RF- I am so happy that you got to book your flights! And NC is right- it'ds not gloating. We are happy for you!

Sea- I am so sorry abou the clients. I hope that the new meetings will be prosperous for you. And the pic by the 'O' is adorable. I wanna do one too!

NC- oh wow- I could never push Mark in a wheel chair! He's too heavy for me! I told him he's going to be able to get a HoverRound and then he can go to the Grand Canyon. :rotfl: I swear, his ankle was huge. It was ugly. The only thing that made me feel better about it was that he was weight bearing. I sure am glad that we bought the expensive tix for thegame- there's no way he could walk up to the nose bleed section.

okay- I'm off

Hope everyone is good.

have a good night
Jo

omigosh, you guys...hard to keep up...ok, let's see...

Jo -- SO GLAD to hear Mark didn't break his ankle!!! As soon as I read your first post, I sent buckets of PD, good thoughts, and prayers your direction, but the crisis was already over anyway  Yeah, I think a spa day was in order. Just a thought -- Mark may have a super high pain tolerance, but he might want to fill the Rx for some of the pain pills, just in case he is miserable in the middle of the night, or really sore from walking around the parks, etc. Just a thought, there....and who has the packing cows????

Sea, very sorry to hear you lost clients due to businesses closing. Ugh the economy is so bad right now. I process customer bills, for homes and businesses, and we are getting so many letters right now -- I'm sorry this is only a partial payment, please bear with me, business is really slow right now -- and so many foreclosures on homes, too :sad2: Hopefully, things will start looking up. Gas prices have certainly improved, at least temporarily...I saw regular for 3.11 today. So buckets of PD, good thoughts, and prayers for you, too. Oh...and Sea...that's mighty fine that you want to be early, but Brrt and I will be held up for a while...hope you brought a sleeping bag for your wait..maybe a tent...some trail mix...:rotfl2:

RF -- yay for booking your flight!!! :yay: We always drive down to DL -- takes about 7-8 hours if I drive, about 6-7 hours if Brrt flies...er drives... I think we've decided to nap on 12/11 after work, get up about 10 pm, leave around midnight, and drive all night down to Anaheim. Should avoid most traffic with those hours! And yea, we are weird, we should be able to hit the park right away on Friday morning -- with sufficient coffee  -- but we will be dead tired by Friday evening. Go back to the DL Hotel, hit the hot tub, go to bed early...ahhhh...can't wait!

Rats, lunch break is over...hi to everyone else, Mari, NC, Shelly, Sulley...  :snooty: :snooty:
