Hey there! Another Pittsburgher here! With the playoffs gotta shout out - GO PENS!

Myself, my hubby, and 3 kids will be going May 12th - 18th, staying off site.

Our plans are:
Monday May 12- arrival day Universal Studios
Tuesday May 13th - am in Animal Kingdom, pm in Hollywood Studios ADR Mama Melrose
Wednesday May 14th - Magic Kingdom - ADR Crystal Palace
Thursday May 15th - Epcot
Friday May 16th - Epcot (possible evening at Hollywood Studios)
Saturday May 17th - Magic Kingdom
Sunday May 18th - kids pick - depart for home

The Humidity!!! It just doesn't agree with my hair!!!

All the people on scooters!!! Sorry, I know that sounds rude, but didn't it seem like everyone was on a scooter last year???? I just have a hard time believing that all those people truly need a scooter. Plus after what I saw at DTD. . . . Okay, we are waiting at the bus stop to go back to the resort. A bus finally pulls up. Well, what do you know, there is a guy with a scooter that needs loaded. . . Okay so the ramp won't come down from the back door of the bus. It is stuck. The bus driver messes and messes with it, but finally tells the man that he will have to wait for the next bus. So the guy proceeds to stand up out of his scooter and picks up his scooter and loads it onto the bus himself! What in the world???

What the ... so why did he need the scooter... some people just take advantage.... you should change your flights if it doesn't cost you anything.... it's better to get to WDW early... you can enjoy DTD or the pool better.... Good luck with your choice...

AK - Well, it's big and hot and smelly! There are a few great attractions. Love EE, but just not much else there for our family.

Yes, those scooters can be dangerous too. I can't tell you how many times they have come close to hitting the kids.

It would be slightly more to switch our flight. Not much. I am just thinking that I don't want to deal with it so close to the trip. I don't know, I'll wait for DH to get home and see what he thinks. . .

Shelly - you are right, there isn't a lot attractions for kids at AK, the shows and parades are good. I think the it looks awesome though. I like all the animals and I loved the safari ride. To me, it is more like "infotainment" place than a "entertainment" place. Know what I mean? I think people want to be entertained when they come to a Disney theme park and so there is disappointment that they are not being entertained enough at AK. I could spend days at AK just taking pictures of the animals and exploring that place.

Yeah, I think you are right Sea. We saw the parade in 2005 and it was really good. We weren't there long enough to see it last year. No one was interested in staying very long. We went at opening and were back to the room by like 12:30. I think the kids would have liked it better when they were real little. But now, you point to an animal and they are like - yeah that's nice, whatever! Maybe they will appreciate it more when they are older. I could take it or leave it really. So glad they have EE now, it is great. Hoping to get to see the Nemo show this year! I don't know why the park seems so big and complicated to me. It's just not laid out as nice as MK. Plus, it always seems hotter at AK. . .

I also want to catch the Nemo show.... That looks great... last year we went to AK the day morning befor ewe had to come back home.... i also feel the same as Shelly it's take it or leave it... this year it might be more interesting since my DD is into animals and stuff now... we'll see...

we're going to universal/ ioa also, my favorite is dueling dragons - but i haven't been there since mummy so, we'll see
