hey shelly - i started packing too!!!

so far i have :

17 tops (tanks, tees, tube tops)
7 capris
3 shorts - yes you heard me shorts...
2 bathing suits
2 cover ups/sarongs
5 dresses
3 pair of shoes (1 dressy sandals- crocs & 1 other comfy sandals)
1 long sleeved zip up sweater (cream colored so it matches everything)
3 little long sleeved cover up half shirts .... does that make sense

i'm not exactly sure about undergarments yet, i still need to get a few sports bras - i just think they'll be comfy... and like dozens of underwear

but - i think i will get maybe 2 more tops from wal mart ... i'm in love with the wal right now - the one by my parents house has really nice CUTE work clothes too.... GO 'HEAD WAL MART!!!

HI Shelly...... I got to work late here today..... I had a VERY crazy night... let's just say 1 of my bestfriends ended up moving into my DD playroom....

Holy cow, Sea, you SO did not want to be part of that discussion yesterday!

Well, guys, I did it...I took the plunge....and my hair is SHORT! Two of my girlfriends from work were there for moral support, and they both love it. I think DH was a little shocked, but even he thinks it's cute So no more hippie long hair for me My ponytail was really long, and it's really healthy because I didn't color or blowdry, so I'm sending it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths -- they give wigs to women who've lost their hair due to chemo. It will take some getting used to, but I think I like it...and it will grow again. I am going back next week for her to do some fun color though. I really liked the stylist -- she was great, and also very sweet and encouraging.

Ok, nitey nite Mayer friends...

But I am living proof that it does grow out again. I just told Mark yesterday- "my hair is finally long again." To which he yelled "Thank God!!!!"

He hated my short hair- if it's up to him, I'll be 95 with hair to my waist, ala Laura Ingalls' Mom, Caroline.

Friend of mine from work is leaving tonight to make the trek down to Anaheim...I am SUPREMELY jealous!!! Nobody cares about hockey here...just basketball and football But hockey is the only sport DH watches and cares about, and I've grown to appreciate it too

Thanks, Jo I was a little worried and hoped they'd be able to use it, but the stylist said my ponytail look really healthy after the split ends were trimmed, and it's LONG -- the shortest layer is a good solid 8 1/2" and the longest is over 12"! Yeah, Tim prefers the long hair look, but I think he'll be ok with it once he gets over the shock. He did tell me last night it was a really cute hair cut...after he picked his jaw up off the floor..

I don't regret getting it cut...I just hope I can make it look ok this short...I'm all thumbs when it comes to styling. And make up. And clothes. I'm pretty much hopeless.

Oh, and heck ya, I have to work...if it's Monday-Friday, I am there, chained to the Wheel of Pain (you have to be familiar with Conan the Barbarian to get that one...)
