I personally have not noticed any change at all in his ears. It really stinks, BUt then again I am with him all the time that maybe just maybe there is a difference and he just seems the same to me?? We find out for sure on wednesday when he gets his test.

We might go out tomorrow night- Mary Cat has a special thing-y to go to at church. So tonight, we will just get over all of our feelings.

Mari- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry. Especially at work.

We are hoping the little boy can stay with his grandparents..
however...

the father of the boy has some judge that was paid off or something, we don't know the details of it- but can you believe that Father who beat that mom until she was a bloody mess was given visitation rights???

He gets the boy every summer. Un-freakin-believeable. So we are worried that now that the mom is gone, the father will want to get him back.
Although, the general consensus is that the dad really doesn't care about the little boy and only was being a pig because it hurt the mom. Since he can't hurt her anymore, we hope he will drop it.
The grandparents have told my mom they will fight to the death for that child.

If you can spare a prayer for him, I know they would appreciate it.

I will definetly have him in my prayers. I will also throw in a prayer for him to stay with his grandparents. Who is to say that the reason the mom had the bleeding wasn't because of him...

It's sad to me b/c she had finally gottne some peace in her life after about 5 years of hell.

Sorry about your mom's neighbor JO. That's an awful story. That poor little boy.

Sorry about your fight with Mark too. These things happen. I'm sure things will be all better in no time!

We've had a rough week here too. My SIL's dad has been ill for a long time. He went into the hospital early this week and was put on life support a few days ago. He didn't want to live on life support and after a few days they decided to take him off. As they were about to do it his wife (my SIL's step-mother) had a heart attack. She ended up to be alright. It was minor (as minor as a heart attack can be). They took him off the life support yesterday and he died early this morning.

Plus we had a fire in our town early this week. The woman that lived in the house died in the fire. Only 40 years old. And we lost one of our firefighters in the fire too. Only 21 years old. It's very sad. Our town is not that big, maybe 10,000. So it is a small close community and everyone is mourning the losses, even those who didn't know the people personally.

DS8's bus was over 20 minutes late. I was freaking out!! I guess there were a lot of accidents in town. DH has been trying to make his way home from Dayton since 10:00 this morning. It's usually a 4 1/2 hour drive. He's not even close to being home yet. Stupid snow!!

Jo, I will be praying for that little boy who lost his mom. So sad and tragic. I hope some good people will see the need and help him out really soon.

Tonight we are going to be going to tailors and dry cleaners to get some clothes hemmed and cleaned. Then it is off to the mall and to exchange a shirt and get some food. Bringing up the suitcases tonight and start the packing. Tomorrow I am going to get some sunscreen, chapstick and other small items I need. Going to get my cameras and video equipment organized and ready.

Saturday, is going to be busy. Meeting up with a repair guy at my MIL's house. Planning to have lunch with my wife at the Grove / Farmers Market. Get the car washed. Maybe see a movie or do more shopping.

Sunday, church and then lunch with my parents and family celebrating my Dad's birthday. My son Chris' birthday is on the 20th, while we are on the cruise - he is turning 16 !!!!

Busy busy times ahead!

That is awful about your SIL's IL's!! How terrible for all of them. I am so sorry for their loss.

I hope Garry gets home soon. This snow is just disgusting.

Yes, I haven't talked to my SIL yet. She is with her family about 2 hours north of here. I talked to my brother, but I need to call her. Just dreading it, it's always hard to find the right words to say.

Just talked to DH again. He's still pretty far out and the snow's not letting up. It must be way worse in Ohio because it seems to be letting up a bit here. I think it's supposed to keep on snowing through the night though.

He should just stop and stay overnight, but he's stubborn and he's been gone since last Sunday and he is determined to get home.

So, I just got off the phone with one of my vendors. They invited me to a trade show at the end of the month - to the Anaheim convention center, across the street from DL! He wanted to know if I wanted to know if could meet up with him at the show and then go over to DL for a couple of hours. He said he would provide me free tickets. So I said yes! He is sending tickets in the mail on Monday.
