Gosh, Mari- what a bummer. I'm so sorry! here's an idea- where is his conference? Could you tag along for a few days if it's somewhere fun or a place you've never been? I love doing that with Mark's conferences. It gives us time together, but i also have some "Me" time, too. Just an idea.

My fave is to bake salmon in the oven with a bit of olive oil on top, and with salt, pepper, a little garlic salt and thyme.
put it over a salad with baby spinach leaves, dates, grapes and balsamic vinegrette dressing. ( I make my own). Oh man, now I want some!

Yep, I just saw it! How cute!!
I was just looking at both Sarah/Betsy and Peggy's sites. I'm not sure I am finding exactly what I am looking for. . . Although I am not really sure exactly what I am looking for to begin with! I'd like to do something special, but the funds aren't really there to do anything spectacular after the diamonds and the Disney trip expenses! So I thought a basket would be a little something nice. . . I see they can't add food to them anymore because of Florida state law. Not even pre-packages items. That stinks!

Sounds expensive to me! But then I am incredibly cheap.

ETA- in this house he is known as Tour Guide Bob. The name Bob is our name for anyone we can't remember their names, and Mark could not remember Mike's name. HAHA.
