Mark has learned that I don't want flowers on Valentines b/c that is when it is "expected". To me it is much more special when he comes strolling through the door after work with a bouquet or even a single rose. It just means so much more then b/c I know it came from his heart.

The first flower Mark ever gave me was a white Cala Lilly. It was beautiful.

I am not sure I will get a "gift" for Valentine's Day, but we are going to the American Heart Association Heart Ball on Saturday! That is our Valentine's date this year! Since I am getting new dress and some accessories I just really don't want a gift. Plus, I would like to bid on the silent auction items. It is such a good cause!

I got to buy a dress:

And some earrings and a bracelet:

I already had shoes. I am gettting my mani and pedi tomorrow and my hair done on Sat. for the ball. (The only event I have ever had my hair done for is my wedding! Ha! Can you believe that!)

I can't wait for the ball! I think it will be so fun!

I love your present.... very cute.... so far i got flowers here at work... and he got me 2 pair of shoes i really wanted and this really nice necklace but i won't get that until later because it wasn't finished yet...

Mari - nothing says love me like a new pair of shoes! I love new shoes! Flowers, candy, a card.... But new shoes make me feel so good!

I was too stunned to cry! I knew I wanted it, I had it marked in my favorites on the computer. He bought my Christmas present that way too. It was just such a sweet gesture.

She never vocalized it, but I am not happy. When she told me that they came, I was stunned. I had specifically asked for delivery for today. I had even paid extra. I can't get through to the florist because their phone has been busy and I don't have time to drop by their store today.

We are going to go out to dinner tonight. Hopefully, that will be nice and make up for yesterday.

I agree with NC... i would definetly let them know that i was upset and that i paid extra for correct delivery which they did not do.... hey if you paid buy credit card you can charge it back...

The day is finally slowing down. . . Parties and meetings are over!! It was a fun day though.
