I can't believe they didn't close schools for you!

We are all closed up. Mark had to go to Harrisburg this morning, but I just talked to him and he was pulling into Perkins to get some breakfast. He said the roads were okay, but he had to drive pretty slow.

I told him he should've gone to IHOP...they are giving away free pancakes today in honor of National Pancake Day!:lmao:

The roads aren't too awful bad yet. We only have about 2 inches of snow. It's later that I'm worried about. If it continues it will be pretty bad by the time DS8 is on his way home.

Okay, seriously somedays I think I should never go outside of this thread. Some people just really irritate me!

So this woman starts a thread titled - "How to make WDW fun for boys" and goes on to explain that she has 3 boys and 1 girl. And that they are going to WDW for her DD's birthday and having breakfast at CRT and how she got her DD tons of little princess gifts. So she is looking for ideas for special things to do for or with her DS's. So several of us give our ideas and experiences and so on about our DS's at WDW. Then a few nasty people just have to pipe in with rude comments for no apparent reason. :confused3 Do they not have anything better to do??? Here are a few of them -

"Here's a crazy idea - maybe your 3 year old doesn't need the "ton" of special
gifts from Cinderella...then boys won't feel bad that they don't have any extra stuff."

"I get so tired of hearing that there is so much more for girls at WDW than boys."

You know what - Who asked you??? I feel kind of bad for the OP because she has a very low post count so she is probably new to the boards and it was probably the first thread she ever started. She is probably thinking everybody on the DIS is rude! :sad2:

I hate people like that... if you have nothing creative so say then just keep your mouth shut...

Mornin.
I'd like to ammend the statement I said yesterday about Spring being on the way.

I think that Robin actually was on crack. Punxatawny Phil was right.
Outside is a mess...:headache:

"hey Robin in my backyard when it's 11 degrees out! Put DOWN the crack pipe!"

Shelly - you dug out yet?????:sad2:

We are just north of Pitsburgh. About as far from NYC as you can be in PA. Probably 6 hours or more. . .

OH that's far.... i can get into PA in 2 hours but it's nowhere near you... STOP sending the snow over here...

Speaking of other threads... there is a thread that basically says people that go to DIS and spend a lot of money are selfish. they could put money towards mortgages...studen loans...etc. that gets me mad... to me the memories are what last longer. I only had my dad until 16 and he took us to DIS and those are the memories I hold near to my heart... for ex. this year i could use that money towards buying a new car but i'll wait my DD is only young once... and who is to say that I'll still be on this earth next year...hmmm sorry i was ranting... it's just crazy what some people say...

I know, why are people so rude and negative? Didn't their mother's ever teach them - if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all!! :rotfl:

It must be a sad life to sit on the computer all day and make rude comments and offer your opinions when nobody asked for them. :sad2:

Hey guys i need my Mayers advice.... Here is the situation... on Saturday my DSIL came over with her DH and his 2 kids. They aren't her children just his. so they were playing with my DD in her playroom and then went to her bedroom which once i noticed i told them all to go back to the playroom. Then on Monday my DSIL called me that her DH daughter took 2 of my DD pins from Dis... well when i went to look i had a total of 10 pins from our last trip and only 5 were there. So only 7 accounted for. my question is should I ask my DSIL to ask her Dstepdaughter where r they other ones. the little girl is only 5. so 3 are still missing? should i just leave it alone???? i don't know i don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable about it either...
