I think we will Love it Shelly.... I keep going over all the pictures and stuff and i like it... by the way which area are you going to request. I think i'm going to request Cabana's 9A building...

hey guys back from lunch... filled up and refreshed and ready to talk all things disney :mickeyjum

i stayed at CBR last time I was at wdw - and loved it... we picked POR for the romance of it for the honeymoon, but we really cnsidered all of the moderates before choosing that one - but, i wanted to tell you guys that I talked to my ex b/f after he got back from his honeymoon (about a year ago now)and he RAVED about CSR... so that should make you guys happy :cutie:

i need to go NOW!!! :scratchin :scratchin :scratchin

Yes we do... we should all hop on planes and head over there..... i wish..... i stayed in CBR last year and i will def go back there on my next trip......

Here's what I wear in the parks:

My Asics running shoes. Love those things.

My newest addition - running socks. I have asics and brooks. They are moisture wicking, which is great if your feet get wet at Splash or just from being hot. The one's I bought are like $10 each. I adore them. The seam is on the outside of the sock, so it looks like you are wearing your socks inside out. They are THE most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I bought mine at a running specialty store. Some of the best $$$ I have ever spent.

If your feet aren't happy, you ain't happy!

T-shirts from Target.

I have 3 pair of these shorts from Sports Authority. They are Alpine brand. They look like normal Khaki shorts but they are dri-material. They are so cool and comfy. If you happen to get wet, you dry out really quick. Love those!

For the evenings, I have some capris from target and gap which I wear with Ts from either Target or gap.

I also bring my Teva flip flops and a pair of Keens.

:thumbsup2

i liked it - i loved the steel drums playing at night... i thought it was just sooo cool - very beachy and tropical... i like mellow surroundings like that... it was definately a hard choice... i think what finally broke the tie was the travel time from each resort to the parks... POR was more centralized than the rest and closer to DTD so there would be short commutes home at night...

Hi NC.... glad to see you..... I hope u are enjoying your day.....

RF - So sorry for what you are going thru now. I am sure we all have a loved one in our family that is an addict. This is a special and a stressful time in your life. You really need to set boundries with your family, which does sound harsh and cold. However, you do not need to be dealing with all this just before your wedding. This is your time. (I would love to just tell your mother and father to grow up and to focus on their daughter.)

They may be POd with you for setting boundries, but try to do it in a loving way, like " I love you but right now I have a lot on my plate with planning this wedding, starting my life with Bob, etc. Perhaps after we return from our honeymoon and are settled in, we can talk about these things then. But now, I need to focus on my future husband, my career, and my wedding. I love you.

Ooooooohhhhhh are we still talking about shopping?????!!!!!! My second favorite subject!! :rotfl:

Let's see RF - Most of the clothes I am taking are from Fashion Bug, JC Penney's, and Dress Barn. That's where they sell petites! What can I say - I never grew up! I am pretty limited as to where I can find stuff to fit me. I also have things from the Disney Store, Old Navy and Gap.

I don't beleive I've ever been to NY & Co. but I think we might have one here at the outlet mall. . . I'll have to check that out!

You would like NY& Co. They have petites too. Have you tried Ann Taylor. I LOVE their clothes.

definately good luck! i agree that it just takes hard work and watching what and how much you eat - i can't do the diets that eliminate entire food groups - i do it for a few days then quit and binge on the thing that i couldn't have...

with muay thai it didn't happen overnight either - i went twice a week for almost 2 years - and i didn't do it to lose weight i just wanted to make myself stronger and be able to defend myself ... so, it was a nice bonus that i lost about 40 lbs doing it... i didn't watch my diet AT ALL with it so i can only imagine if i did the results i would have had... :guilty:

oh, well - i made my mistakes and put it back on - but, at least i know when i am ready i can do it because it's been done before...

oh - and the reason i asked about the crocs is that i only have 1 pair that i am bringing - i wonder if i should get i more pair... i have another pair of sandals that i am bringing that aren't crocs - but they are the shoes that have the magnets in them that are supposed to be really good for your chi or something :rotfl2: but, they're comfy as well... and 1 pair of dressy sandals - i just don't know if thats enough...  uh oh more money spending!!! :lmao:

I bring about 3 pairs of high heeled dressy sandals. Like a wedge type. Comfy.

I do not wear sneakers. My feet get way to hot. I wear old navy flip flops. They are comfy for me. I bring about every color they have. I like to coordinate with my shirts. I am a dork:dance3:

i know my DH HATES when i say i'm going to the mall this weekend... well last year i took 1 pair of sneakers, 1 pair of crocs, and ton's on old navy sandals (I DO NOT RECCOMMEND) i ended wearing my sneakers and crocs only.... so this year i got different colors crocs and my sneakers..... let's see how it goes...

I love my Old Navy Flip flops. I have them on now.

NC u can't write that and then not post it.... between u and jo u guys are gonna make me have an anxiety attack or something...

i had a pair of Old Navy sandals that i adored, but then i bought 2 more last year and both pair broke within like 2 weeks ...

and that is the LAST thing i need to happen in the middle of a park

I went tanning and I think it is working. I look like I have some sort of color. All this talk about shopping is making me want to go.

So I am off,

I have to run to Annie Sez I need a dress for a fundraiser event for Dh's job on May 2nd. My mom said they have dressy dresses there. If not I will go to Lord & Taylor on Thursday.

So this is what I bring to Disney. I have 7 dresses. I like to wear a dress at dinner. 4 pairs of capris( but probably wont wear them. I get too hot. About 15 shirts and 8 pairs of shorts. 3 bathing suits.

I know I pack too much. but I am bringing the space savers.

Ok I am off Be back later
