We are doing All star Music! Never been there before!

I tell you- this is such a last minute trip- I have never scrambled like this before.

It started on Sunday, when our friends came over for dinner and I was helping them with their trip- they are going May 3-10th. And I was trying to help them choose places to eat- and I was freaking out b/c they hadn't made any ADR's and didn't know anything at all! So they signed up for TGM- and we printed out his best parks/ and other pertinent info.


So while the wife and I were in the library talking Disney, I could hear Mark saying to the husband- you'll have a great time. It won't be bad- the touring plans Jodi will give you will be great, blah blah blah.

So they leave and Mark says- wow they are going to have a great trip.
I said yeah, they will.

That was it. I didn't have any motives, nothing up my sleeve, not even THINKING of suggesting we go. Nothing. I promise.

Monday morning, Mark says "I'm not going into the office today-" we're drinking coffee, chatting, I'm eating cereal. I said "okay," and shrugged my shoulders-

Mark says" i need a vacation". I said "Well, we're going in October - going to SC in July, blah blah"

Mark: "No, I mean now- in the next few weeks"
Me- "Well, Mom is coming- we can't take the kids out to go"
Mark-"no- me and you".
Me- "well, we could go to the city (NYC) and see a show and shop."
Mark-"no"
Me- 'Boston?"
Mark- "no"
Me-"Cleveland? Cinci to see Tony and jen? (our friends)"
Mark-"no."
Me........." I don't know what you want to do- just tell me."
(okay, I get the "duh award").
Mark- "I want to go to Disney world. And I don't want to wait for October. How much will it cost? I don't care- I want to go. Now."




MY HUSBAND, the one I had to play games with in order to get him to agree to the October trip by promising dreams of seeing his beloved Gators play IN THE SWAMP---
has become a lover of Disney.

I never in a million years thought I would see this day.



And he has been home every day since then helping me figure out what to do- wherer to stay- rental car/no rental car...

Okay- so he is stressed at work. But I will gladly take pity on the poor man and be dragged along in his dreams of chasing the mouse.
