Thanks for all the pin info Sea! :goodvibes I always wondered how that worked with the CM's. The kids will have fun trading them! I will have to look on ebay. They won't want to trade the ones they have!

Congrats on losing weight Huggie! I didn't even know you were trying!

Be careful when you buy on ebay... people are making fakes....

Thanks for the INFO sea... i will look into it once i get back from lunch.....

hey has anyone checked out "tour guide mike" i'm curious what it's all about??? because i have never planned a wdw trip before i wanted to know if you guys thought it was worth the money or should i just feel my way thru it now???

You can ask JO... she used tour guide mike.... I have not used him...

I have a quick question for you guys.... would it be wrong of me to celebrate my DD bday while i'm at Dis... her Bday is actually on June 10th but it would be nice for them to celebrate it there someway and i knwo i will NEVER go to WDW in June.....

Tour Guide mike is DA' BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to WDW so many times I don't even use any park maps anymore.

However, I love, love love love love love love love love love LOVE his website. Seriously. Can't. Be. beat.

I would never in a million years ever go again to WDW without planning a trip at his website. There is a load- ton- humongoid- amount of info, though, so at this point in your planning stage, with the wedding and all- I don't know if it would be worth it to you to register. It might take too much time to look at everything and you have so much to do, I don't think it would increase your trip at all.

The best time to use him is when you are planning a trip a ways out. I never make any ADR's anywhere until I have his best days-which parks info. Then I plan which parks to go to, based on the ADR's I have that day. Easy- peasy. And he is always dead on. Unbelievable. I like to try to guess what he is going to say before he posts which days to do- I make a tentative plan. Then I will regroup after he lists them.

Also, his forums and the people that post there are awesome. ( Hi NC!!:flower3: ) So many people willing to give you plans, look at your plans, critique, tweak them, oh and the touring plans that I print and take to the parks...:cloud9:

The info there is, I think, a lot more detailed and you find out secrets that most Dis'ers don't necessarily know. But you have to promise not to talk about them on any other website. Which KILLS me, b/c so many times I have wanted to share so many things with the MAYers, and couldn't. I have PAGES and PAGES printed out of info he gives you- hints, plans, where to stand, which line to get in, which side of certain rides to go to, best places to sit to watch parades, and fireworks- pictures that are amazing, detailing "secret" entrances and exits...:scared1: Things you'd never even know were there and many people walk past them everyday...:rolleyes1

You get the idea. I am a TGM groupie. Love him. Best money, IMO, I spend on the entire trip.

YMMV;)

:rotfl:

Shelly - No haven't gotten mine... but i went through AAA so i'm expecting it will take longer since they get it then it's sent to me...

Jo - why can't you share... is it something in the terms of using his website.... don't worry us Mayers won't tell...

I haven't used TGM. JO has and she loves it! It basically tells you what days to go to which parks and how to tour them for minimal waits. I think DMM used it last May and didn't think it worked well.

I have basically worked out my own system. Went in blind in 2005 and had huge waits. Had a plan last May and never waited more than 15-20 minutes! :cool1: I researched on AllEars. They list which days are the busiest historically in which parks. So I automatically eliminate those days. Then I look at the EMH's and I also eliminate them. Then I go with what's left and start my schedule from there. What a difference it makes!! Hint - MK on Tues & Wed is awesome!!

YMMV;)

:rotfl:[/QUOTE]

is that where that comes from??? i noticed that people all over the board have it posted and i never really knew what it was supposed to mean or where it came from... or is that top secret too... :rotfl:

that's cool, i would love to try it... do you think that it is it too late to get it now for myself??? i have about a month... but with the wedding planning also do you think i would be able to invest enough time that's needed to make it worth while... also do you have to "renew" your subscription annually or is $21 all you have to pay... now i'm curious everything... you definately caught my attention :goodvibes

I have a quick question for you guys.... would it be wrong of me to celebrate my DD bday while i'm at Dis... her Bday is actually on June 10th but it would be nice for them to celebrate it there someway and i knwo i will NEVER go to WDW in June.....

I don't think it would be wrong Mari! We did it last year for DS8. His birthday is next week. We told them it was his birthday at the Garden Grill. He had fun! It might be a bit confusing for your DD at her age though. She might think it is actually her birthday! :rotfl: But I'm sure a lot of people do this!

Cause i'm thinking about doing it either at CRT breakfast or Chef Mickey... and getting her a button for the day... i'm not too conserned about her thinking it's her Bday when it really isn't... she will not realize it.... i'm thinking about doing it since like i said i know we will never go in June...

Absolutely. You will be there close to it. Just pick a day and tell them you a "celebrating" her birthday that day. It is so much fun! I was in WDW for my actual B-day January 2006. So much fun. Get her a B-day pin from town hall/ Info centers. Also tell the restaurant you are celebrating her day- they will gice you something special!;)
