With the Lanyard list closing and the Mini-navigator deadline past. I will be closing the roster when the lanyard list is closed.

If you have any room updates, please get them to me soon! Any updates beyond that will be on the message boards.

The roster and deck plans are all updated :)

Our numbers look like this:

293 people!

107 Cabins!!!

Lanyard People Rule!!!!!

Someone with better math skills than I can work out the percentages if you would like popcorn:: But it looks like we cover ALOT of the ship.

PLEASE check the roster list and make sure you are on it (please don't assume) and that all the info is correct.

Did I happen to mention

3 more sleeps!!

Just went on the DCL site and there are NO MORE Cat 11's!!! Still Cat 12's and 4-10, but no Cat 11's...

That is what the lady was telling me on the phone today. We were hoping to move our room closer to my DM and DD's but no luck. Well maybe that is a good thing. The best thing about having my kids stay in a room with my mom is that Disney considers her "responsible" for them!!! My DH and I are just authorized to pick them up! :rotfl:

How is everybody going to get a case of water on the ship? I really do not want to carry an extra suitcase to put water in. Any suggestions?

We are putting it with our luggage for the porters.

We're leaving this morning. After 13 months of checking off days on my countdown calendar - it's finally here!

See you guys this week. :yay:

See you soon!

Yes, I'm serious. If I can find our group jammie pictures (with about 100 of us), I would post, but don't know if I can find them quickly.

How about jammie breakfast at 8 a.m. on Thursday May 17 in Lumiere's (jammies are not required, but encouraged). Group picture afterwards. Meet in atrium at 8 a.m.

That sounds like so much fun! I hope DH isn't a party pooper.

Debbie - Please change our room number to 6522. I am so excited to get an upgrade to a veranda room.:cool1: :cool1: We have always been on deck 2 and really just thankful to be on the Disney ship. Last night our kids took us to the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Bomas) for our birthday dinners - Carl and I have birthdays 4 days apart. My daughter said, "Are you two excited to be cruising in 6 days?" We went on and on. She said, "We have a surprise for you - we have upgraded you to a veranda room as your birthday present". We both just about died - especially my husband. He has always wanted a veranda room but I felt like we couldn't afford it. So we will be joining the disboarders on deck 6. Hope all the rest of you who are trying to upgrade on Saturday - get your upgrades. I had planned to try but knew since I was using Disney transfers I would get there late and probably not get one. Thank heavens for a sweet daughter and son-in-law. Debbie, thanks for all you've done.

:woohoo:

So how 'bout it? Can ya please help me keep all the balls in the air and remind me about this while we sip wine? THANKS.

:rotfl:

Before the kids get out of school, I need to see what they put in their suitcases last night. :guilty: They seem to get upset when they see me changing out the outfits...they packed.;) It is better to do while they are gone.:rolleyes1

I so know what you mean!

Thanks Hoagie Pie. We are just so excited, It has been a whirlwind to get it together in a week. I am thankful we already had passports. DW just got back from picking out Pirate costumes for me and the kids. I'm lucky to be off from work this week, gives her a chance to get everything done. I'm not sure if we'll have any excursions booked or anything else well organized but what the heck we'll just go with the flow. It's nothing a glass of wine on deck can't fix.

::yes::

Final packing tomorrow night and then Wed. my dd and I hit the spa! Nails, feet, waxing, and massage and then we are ready to go! No cleaning house here - my dh will have the house in such a mess when I get back I will have to call the maids in!

I cleaned this weekend because we were having fellowship group pot luck. Place is a mess now. And the pot luck was last night!

Friends don't let friends Dis' and drive.

Congrats on the passports.

Kurt H.

:rotfl:

Or a keg o Rum

I'm going to have a hard time keeping up with you! Why is the run always gone anyway? :rotfl:

The terrorists in the middle east are trying to recruit childrenn for suicide bombings and terrorism so the recruiters brought a "mouse" to school that looked and talked like Mickey to tell them to go to war and kill themselves. It was awful!!! I am sure Disney is just upset about the whole thing. It was very sad. It wasn't "the" Mickey Mouse, but it was VERY close. Let me know if you see this.

That is just horrible!

I haven't gotten the package yet, either. Bummer. Well, I did get docs and magnets early.
Speaking of broken liquor bottles . . . You haven't lived till you've driven the length of I-5 with a broken tequila bottle rolled in a sleeping bag in the back seat! :rotfl:
:scared1:

Boy, just got caught up. Had problems getting in. Busy, crazy busy weekend. Cleaned house Saturday morning. People to people meeting Saturday afternoon with dd. Graduation party after that. Sunday was all day Special Olympics Track meet. John won one gold and 2 bronze metels!!! :woohoo: Much improved from last year; brought home 3, 4th place ribbons last year. :sad1: John and I didn't even make it home in time for the pot luck. Still had a bowl of DH's gumbo. He's a wonderful cook.

Ran errands today. Had a visit with a new mom from our group who's baby I didn't get to hold last night. So, I got my baby hugs in before the trip. Stopped by REI to buy some luggage locks and a neck pouch. I also stopped at Fry's and picked up an memory card for John's camera and an ipod shuffle for me! I've been down loading my music while getting caught up.

Also went by girlfriend's house with the dog to get him aclimated (sp?). He did great. Whew! Now off to try and finnish up Harry Potter, so I don't have to bring that one on the trip, too. I'll have it finished before we get off the plane then it will sit in the luggage for nearly three weeks.

Packing tomorrow and manicure and pedicure with dd after she gets off work.

Have a great night all,

Lori

Ahh...but who gets that pager? Or are your kids past that stage??

By the way, congrats on the passports!!!! I am so glad that you did not end up with the Hell-A agent!!

Oh Anna, what an aweseme daughte you and Carl raised. I am so happy for you:) And Happy Birthday to you both.

Okay Linda--just as soon as I thought I was finished packing you have me scrambling around to find jammies not out the Victoria's Secret catalog:rotfl2:

EVERYONE GOING TO THE WINE AND CHEESE GALA--I have three grass skirts and they do not fit into the smaller rolling bag we are "carrying on" to the ship. They are in the top of the big bag we are leaving with the porters (in a handy plastic sack for carrying onto the ship of course). If ALL of you try to remember to remind me to take them out of the big black bag when you see me Friday, then maybe one of us will remember and Dave and Pat will have skirts to wear for sail-away. So how 'bout it? Can ya please help me keep all the balls in the air and remind me about this while we sip wine? THANKS.

Hadley, jsut a reminder to take the grass skirts out of the big blue bag before you give it to the porters :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just had to do it

Cheers!!

Pat

Today is Animal Kingdom and Epcot!!

Clothing optional jammie parties, grass skirts MIA.....holy cow!

Guess that's a few things less to pack:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Looooooong Girl Scout leader's meeting last night. Unfortunately they did camporee stuff (which I am missing and do not need to know nad took 2 hours) right in the middle of hte otehr imortant stuff. Four of us did not need that 2 hour bit--was not great planning on someone's part. I scanned lst nigth when I got home but don't really remember much. EDITED TO ADD and apparently I can no longer type. Not even going to try to fix all those typos!

Scott--Thanks for the reminder to unsubscribe from the boards. I don't think I would have thought of that:thumbsup2

Erik--I'll be thinking of you with envy as I clean today.

Pat--You trease, but how will you feel if I do forget and you don't have a skirt?!?!

Lori--My DH probably won't want to go to breakfast in PJs (would require having PJs:rolleyes1 ) but I won't let that stop me from having fun. You shouldn't let it stop you either!

Stephanie--:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Passports!

Nails--I have been thinking on splurging and getting my nails done Thursday. Now so many of you have mentioned doing just that. Talk me into it please;)

Lanyards--Thank you very much to Ken and the entire lanyard team:love: Also to Debbie for the awesome list:love: and Linda for the mini navigator:love: Linda will there be a mini navigator for each cabin or do we have to share ours with my in-laws?

Lynn says she can get through the msg's faster when she dosen't have to fix my typo's. LOL

My mind just works a whole lot faster than my fingers.

Congrats on those medals..

Thanks! I can't tell you how excited he was. The gold insures that he gets to go to the state competition, funny enough, the weekend after we get back. There's a dance at the end of the events on Saturday night that he is looking forward to! :cool1:

Dh is can be the life of the party, but can also be a great be grump! I think the grump part comes for stress with work and being the middle of the ocean, he's not going to be able to work! :yay: :yay: :yay: :woohoo:

Nails -- Yes, do the nails and the toes! I love facials, too, but just can't part with the $70. Do you have friends that get there nails done all the time? If so, ask one (or all) where they go. Find the cheapest one and go there. If a friend who has her nails done all the time, says it's good, it will be. I only pay around $40 after tip for manicure and pedicure here. My appointments being this afternoon, that means the packing must be done before I go! DH laid out his stuff last night, so when the kids get on the bus today, it's packing time! :woohoo: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Lori

Does anyone know what movies will be playing? I can't believe we are this close to leaving!!!!!!
I have two out of our three passports in hand. The third should be here today.

Lori--Please pass along congratulations to your son from me as well. I remembered someone had discussed this last night, but couldn't remember who and had not gone back and check yet (keeping up and posting between hanging out sheets, vacuuming, etc.). That is a great accomplishment and I bet he is really proud of himself.

Thanks for the info. on the nails. The place where I get my hair cut (reasonable on hair I think--$25) wants $25 for manicure and $45 for pedicure which seemed high, but I haven't had it doen in about 4 years so I wasn't sure. Now I will try calling around. I can't thinkl of any one I know who gets theirs done on a regular basis. If I could get them both for $40 I would totally do it.
