I know this is a silly question, but what is WDW like on Labor Day weekend. I know it will be HOT, but is it like New Jersey week or is it more crowded. We get off the Magic on September 1st and will spend 3 days, all of Labor Day Weekend, there. I'm a little nervous.

I won't go into what we were doing on stage. It was not one of my shining moments. I was really embarrassed afterwards.

We Do have a guest suite on our house, so if anyone is an hour north of Chicago....I just think it's cool Richard has a whole house!

Oh my gosh!!! Deanna, it is usually hot here on Labor Day and the crowds are horrendous but I believe anything you do is what you make it. So knowing you I'm sure you will all have a great time.Just plan to hit the Parks early and then head back to swim at your resort.Is it OK if I meet you in case you are able to get my charm? If they don't have charms - maybe you can buy me theTransatlantic towel? I forgot to buy it when we were going over. I will be indebted to you. Are you going to stay at WDW? Do you want to do tea with your queens? Or are they too old for that adventure?

Scott and Lynn, I see that you are ***ing the end of October. I noticed you said you did a race today. We have a new race at WDW the 27th of October called, Tower of Terror Race. There are 4 of my friends doing it with me. Would love to see you guys at the race if you are into races. It is going to be at night and then we get to party at Tower of Terror. The race is new and it is causing a lot of buzz around here. Hope to see you.

Anna, we have already registered for that very same race, KEWL!!!! we will see ya there, beside Oct 28 is a very good day for a birthday LOL, so I can start my annual week long B-day celebration that night....LOL

I"m planning to stay at WDW for a few days when we land back in Florida - looking forward to more time in the parks even if it is a holiday - at least I'm in Disney World!!!

Great job on the race Scott and Lynn - I just don't have the energy to do that but I just might have to give one of them a try someday!

Man o Man why did I ever get DVC when we could just crash at Richards and/or Connie’s , just kidding guys. Bummer we will miss a Sept get together, we are there (WDW) the end of October.

Well we survived the race, Lynn finished 2nd in her division and I finished 5th. It was hot but we had fun. We will definitely be doing this again. The event was called Super Saturday, local Parks and Rec sponsored, lots of community involvement. Lots of vendors, social groups, volunteer groups, and Debbie I stopped by the Red Cross, just to help out $$.

Looks like the next event will be the Race for the Cure. August 11th.

Had a pulled pork BBQ sand for lunch. Hot and sunny here today. Time to stay inside till it cools off. Hope you all are having a great weekend. I got some dry wall to patch so that be an afternoon project.

No... I work in Cuyahoga County. The park is not far from me. Canton is about an hour away. I worked there for a month many years ago.

I did have friends from the chapter in Canton working though.

But it was probably the best thing to happen to it. Cleaned everything up.

Actually... I live on the top of valley that is cut out by the river. Granted the fire happened 6 miles down river closer to the lake.

Hey everyone!

I feel like I haven't been on in AAAGES....but I'm still here...

Work has just been crazy...there was this big incident in our community that my agency has been having to deal with...honestly I've felt a bit like Debbie of late....a catastrophe happens and I'm called in to help do damage control (although thankfully my damage control doesn't require dealing with floods and natural disasters!!! )

Anyhow...I'm back.

Jason and I are still adjusting to being back from vacation....even if it is begrudgingly! However...we are taking great solace in our upcoming plans....it's going to be a very Disney year for us...here's a rundown of our upcoming trips:

August 9-12: NYC Disney Theater Extravaganza!! (We're going for a long weekend in NYC and we're seeing 3 Disney Broadway shows: Mary Poppins, Tarzan, & the Lion King. )

Sept. 5-9: WDW Extravaganza!

Nov. 3-7: DisneyLand Extravaganza!


Of course any DISers who will be in any of those areas while we're there...we'd love to see you!
